Modifier keys don't work with Teleport

I'm running Mac OS X 10.7 on my 17" iMac (2006), 10.8 on my 11" MacBook Air (2011). I'm using Teleport 1.1.2a.

When I use any other application, the modifier keys come through fine, e.g.: open up the Keyboard Viewer, press modifier keys on the master and you'll see the slave's Keyboard Viewer faithfully reflecting all keypresses. EVE doesn't pick up these keypresses though. Regular keypresses and clicks work so I can play the game, I just can't choose to target things using Ctrl+Click for example.

Has anyone else encountered this?
