As for the inflation argument; I agree. If you inject X amount of ISK into a free market, prices will go up by Y. However, I think X>Y (meaning inflation would not match the income generated), and the faucet would work as planned. However, I am not an economist, so this is only opinion.

It is very difficult, even for those with graduate degrees in economics, to predict where new money will go. Inflation amost never shows up in everything at the same time. When it does, look out.

If I made this post, I'd be fearful Adam Smith is going rise from his grave and drag me to hell....

Luckily, CCP employs an economist to help ensure they don't totally **** over the ingame economy.

I understand your desire to devote your free time to PvP, but if you are having that much trouble funding your PvP, you need to reassess your play style. Most PvP'ers fund their pew pew without spending 75% of their play time PvE'ing. They use PI, datacores, trade, and industry to generate isk. Others organize groups to run a plex, WH, or Incursion once a week. All of these things can bring in several hundred million isk without much of a time investment.

A BC loss = 60m isk, before the 30m insurance payout. If you can't afford to lose 5 of those a month, then you need to seriously assess why you are losing them soo often, and why your income is sooo low.

I know its annoying to spend your valuable training time on PvE ****, but taking a few weeks to do so can be easily make up the hours of time you spend ratting to earn isk.

Free isk is to everyone is not a good thing....

even though the economist has been doing a TERRIBLE job, even he would freak out at the idea of adding such a crazy isk faucet into the game

Right now, isk only enters the game through three ways:
1. mission rewards (including FW and incursions)
2. Pirate Bounties
3. Insurance Payouts

Im pretty sure since the advent of PI, the trade routes have been eliminated (please correct me if im wrong)

considering there are like 300,000 subscriptions to Eve at any given time, handing out 3.5 million isk a day per account is like putting adding 1 trillion isk to the game each day

That would be ridiculous so fast its not even funny.
