Number of missions for Faction standing increase...

I flew 16 missions for my agent, and received a faction buffing missions. As expected.
However, after flying another 16 missions I havent got another faction (storyline) mission.

Is there a limit to the number of factions missions you can get per day?
Or is there a limit to the standing increase you can get per day?

No limits.

However sometimes the storyline mission takes a bit to come through I've had mine delayed enough that they arrived after I'd completed an additional mission or two.
