So,

I've got the sisue on my rMBP where it won't launch if I'm using a scaled resolution.

Solution:

Parallels in coherence mode.

With just one client running, it looks usable, performance is fine for what I'm doing, and I think currently it's just using the IntelHD 4000 onboard the i7 chip based on the surprising lack of heat coming from the mbp.

I played for 4 hours the other night, no crashes.
