something I've always wonder and I've read but do not yet fully understand when a BPO or BPC'S has two
sets of mineral requirement one with current skills and 1 with perfect skills how does one GET perfect skills to lower mineral requirements do you train all the skills in research an invention to have perfect skills or is it a matter of researching the blueprint. and since this is my first attempt at T-2 production Building can takeQuestion place in NPC'S science and industry station? thanks

Ahhhh, and since I have no pos with a research mobile lab guess I'm S.O.L. oh well one dream out the window. What?

use public slots, even if there is no free you can que the bpo so it starts in usually 20-30 days if in Highsec. or go to lowsec. plenty of free ones there. just use a frig

It should be noted that you can't research ME on blueprint copies. And T2 stuff tends to be on copies from invention.

The only thing you can adjust is your Production Efficiency skill waste. Sometimes with T2 stuff, it has little effect, due to where PE waste kicks in. (on base materials only. Extra materials are only affected if they also exist as base materials)

In sort of the same vein as the OP, is there an option to display the current mineral amounts on a BPO and the minimum (aka perfect) amounts on a BPO?

I used to see them side by side with the perfect in brackets, but I feel like a few patches back this disappeared. I'm even looking at random BPOs right off the market where I know they haven't been researched. I have PE V, but there's still the inherent 10% waste.

That 'perfect' value was the perfect value for that ME research level. It was your PE waste that was showing up. (I think. I'm /pretty/ sure about this, but not entirely sure).

If you want to see the real perfect numbers, take a look at my blueprint calculator.

Bear in mind, not all BPs are 10% waste.

This would explain why my buddy can still see them, but I can't. Thanks Steve.

Yep, 100% correct.

You'll see something like this only when you're not at PE 5:
Trit -- 1,050,000 (you)
Trit -- 1,000,000 (perfect)

Once you're at PE5, you're at the "perfect" amount for that BP's current ME level, so no reason to show two different numbers anymore.
