let me give you a hint since it's hard for you.If you see it with your own eyes and can touch it or feel it...ya it's real.

So...
Everything you cannot see, feel or smell is not real?
Wow. So you don't trust science AND don't believe in god? Or do you have heavenly / nanoscopical vision?

I can't see electrons. I can see their effects tho, e.g. the light bulb burning. Or a spaceship appearing on my screen.

Different angle:
Assuming software and computer data isn't 'real', it's quite fascinating how many people earn the living with that. How many lifes directly or indirectly depend on this 'unreal' stuff.
Computer gaming / eSports is to tabletop gaming / outdoor sports what software-controlled manufacture is to manual labor.

(Also, I don't care if it's a troll or not, this is General Discussion, so I discuss :p)

this thread just keeps getting sadder and sadder....the shear amount of people that cant tell the difference between whats real and whats "projected" is just sad.I will probably write a paper on this for my psych class

"how people who fail at life try to make an alternate one" thats what ill call it.

that last sentence sums up 90% of the people n this thread....the other 10% were just trolling or adding their 2 bits.

I know that for rednecks like you is hard to envision that there are things that your senses can't detect but are very real. Here, I'll give you a few examples: the "invisible" (to human eye) light spectrum - gamma rays, x-rays, radio waves, UV - sounds with frequency outside human hearing range, etc. Just because you don't know how does the piece of machinery you're using to post your idiotic nonsense work, it doesn't make it unreal.

EVE is as real as any other interaction between humans: again, I know it's hard for rednecks to understand that human contact goes beyond belching, farting, slapping your wife's ass and whatever else you practice in your trailer park but trust me, it's real. It's as real as your stupidity: we can't "see it with our own eyes and touch it" but I assure you we feel it painfully clear.

I don't do tattoos, but if I did something Eve related would be alot better than the dumbass stuff I see on people all the time.

Butterflies
Dolphins hearts
Your GF's name. Cause that tat didn't stop me from hitting while you were at work. Pirate
Any Disney character
$$$
Thug Life
Religious tats. Tats are a sin, so yeah use em to praise GOD.
Your city. Popular here.
Your dead babies name
The child you gave up for adoptions foot print
I love mom. We all love your mom, but you don't see us tatting it.

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

Unfortunately YT blocked that video for me (and my country apparently) - however, from the description, "Stupidity is a lack of intelligence, understanding, reason, wit, or sense." This rafael guy is guilty of lacking all these, especially in the reason and sense departments. Stupid people are always loud, proud of being dumb, very opinionated, violent in their interactions with other people and stubborn. They're dissing anything they can't comprehend and try to smear sh1t on anything that's not part of their tiny universe.

Finally, OT, I really like Chribba's tattoo and it's interesting that a game can generate such lasting passions. I'm sure he didn't do it on a whim and won't regret this in the future.

Chribba is a pillar of the Eve community and does not have to answer to anyone, much less a clueless troll, about any symbol of his dedication to Eve.

Fundamentally, Eve is a society. To have a tattoo representing what he likes about that society is a highest form of compliment to everyone of us.

So in other words, you have never had any kind of experience or memory in your whole life? Or are you just having a hard time separating things that have happened to you from those things you've only read about? Are you incapable of association and abstract thought? Or do you just spend all of your waking time completely drugged out of your skull? If not, then you'll realise that everything you've experienced is real.

That “shear” amount of people amounts to 1: you. You apparently cannot tell the difference between things that have and have not happened, and you cannot conceive of this interesting concept called “entertainment” and “remembering the good times”. The more you post, the more apparent it is that there indeed is a very sad story behind your cognitive disability.

But here's the thing: we're not particularly interested and this is not the arena for discussing it. If you want to donate yourself to science then by all means, go ahead. I'm sure a ton of useful stuff could be learned.

I saw a guy, must have been in his 50s with a Quake logo on his neck.

Well, it looked like a quake logo, but had long since been pulled to pieces by time and tide.

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

I think we can all agree that rafael has been nuked from orbit. The amount of internet justice on behalf of Chribba that has been meted out against him is pretty epic.

I applaud the forum warriors for banishing this troll from whence it came.

Greetings, Troll rafael Elarik.

You fail at trolling, as trolling is the art of being funny and witty while insulting, while you are trying to use serious arguments, which makes me think you misunderstand the art of trolling, and you actually seriously believe the stuff you spout in this thread.
Not my problem, were it not for the fact you insult one of the friendliest and most awesome person alive. He has 10s of thousands of fans on here. I don't think even you, sir, have that IRL. So please get off your high horse.

This is the internet. There is people on it. People different than you, with a different mindset, and different opinions.
You appear to think you have some sort of... moral highground. You act like a dictator who gives "advice" (actually just his own will) over decisions that other people make because you believe you know it better. And if they ignore you, they are clearly losers and video game addicts and bad and yadda yadda yadda. They are obviously not independant people who just have a hobby and love it and are not afraid to show it? Who are you to say that it is dumb? By doing so, you insult the independance and decision of someone else, a decision which was not yours to make, and a decision made by someone you don't even know IRL, yet you somehow manage to think you know how that person is IRL.

You judged before you knew the background story. When you heard it, you completely ignored the positive aspects of it and assumed the worst. Which actually says a lot about you as a person.
Why do you assume that when a gamer does stuff like this, he has no real-life? Also says a lot about your personality.
Gamers these days are cool and awesome... in the past they were the typical nerds, that time is over.

You also seem to assume that games are not real. Please define real for me. It's namely one of the biggest philosophical questions of all time, you seem like you know the answer.

People do not need your advice nor your opinion. Giving it is not wrong, but the way you defend your standpoint is silly, narrowminded, and extremely rude. Not to mention it is a waste of your time, as when someone makes a decision like that, they really do not care what you or someone else thinks about it.
I can only ask for you to perform some introspection and moral consideration before posting, but alas, this is the internet, I hold no power over anyone, and I know it.

Less yappin', more zappin'!
