No it's not, it's just getting a drawing on your skin with permanent ink. Stop making a big deal about it, today everyone has tattoos, and they all look a like. Nothing is more annoying then the people who can't show their tattoo(s), without telling the hour long trivial story about how they got it and how special it is.

Chribba's tattoo is not bad, personally i don't really like it, but at least he picked a unique design.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

Actually I like a tattoo related to something real rather than some japanese symbol lol

yes

it's just my opinion that branding yourself with icons from a video game is a dumb decision, and one you will probably come to regret even moreso than that dreaded "ex gf" tattoo.Tattoos are about self expression and honestly if the only thing you can come up with which to express yourself is your time in a video game, then like I said...sad...sad...sad.

and here I thought that tattoo's were something personal, obviously I did this all wrong since I did it for myself and not for others and their opinions.

I can fully understand your thoughts tho, the tattoo artist asked the same thing before starting, "are you sure you will not regret this later on?" - simply put, no I will not regret it.

And here's why, you read the word 'Veldspar' and go wtf stupid video game thing - I read it and go "5 years of memories and good times, time that I spent and enjoyed very much, I will never regret those years". So even if EVE turns bad, I quit, I start to hate it or anything, those 5 years (and the time from that time to now which is also good) is something that will never be bad, and as such I will never regret the tattoo either.

Obviously if you get a tattoo to look cool for others or similar, that might be something you regret, but I don't think many people will regret the things they get if they do it for themselves. Maybe if they do something obscene or really offensive that might not apply. But this word doesn't hurt anyone nor offend so...

tl;dr
People that go omg that's the dumbest thing I ever saw, either don't understand the concept of creating a memorable or haven't seen many "dumb" tattoo's lol

/c

i can sum up your entire post like this..."i have no interesting things in my real life, all i have to cling to is my make believe online personna...so i'll get a tattoo that has something to do with that to make it feel real.

tl;dr you arent really chribba...get a life outside the game.Grow the F up.

I have bad news my friend. Despite your best attempts to establish yourself as the largest idiot on the forum, you won't be able to do so, because there are already some very large idiots here.

However, as a consolation prize, I promise to think very little of you, which will be easy, because there is very little of you for anyone to think about.

tl;dr Chribba is a boss in an environment people invest millions of hours and dollars each year. You will probably never achieve his level of notoriety in any group of comparable scale.

Tears will be shed and pants will need to be changed all round.

You take tattoos too seriously, as well as games, and people in them, as well as chibbra and who he is and isn't.

Tattoos can be just as easy to remove as put them on, as in painful, if I remember correctly. Besides even having an ex-gf tattoo, can be a fun thing even, like one way to get even or move on by getting it removed. Like mr T says, don't pity the fool.

nah i can disconnect my real life with this game, unlike some people it's not an issue for me.Some people here need to seek professional help ASAP.Before they "fly their space ship into 0.0" (movie theatre) and hurt somebody.

I was rather sure I am real, and I would assume are all posters here, even them bots ingame are control by real software.

Btw.. the beach cleanup crew can destroy your sand sculpture at their leisure without legal reprecussions. So these are not real, too?
People make pictures of those, hang them up in their offices. There are artists actually earning money with those. And still, the sand is not even their own. I'm sure they are nolifers, too?

at least a sand sculpture you can touch..feel...and smell...hell a REAL LIFE WHALE might beach and wreck your sand sculpture..yes thats real...not just a collection of pixels on a monitor.Try harder.

let me give you a hint since it's hard for you.If you see it with your own eyes and can touch it or feel it...ya it's real.

this thread just keeps getting sadder and sadder....the shear amount of people that cant tell the difference between whats real and whats "projected" is just sad.I will probably write a paper on this for my psych class

"how people who fail at life try to make an alternate one" thats what ill call it.

that last sentence sums up 90% of the people n this thread....the other 10% were just trolling or adding their 2 bits.

You should have gone with the purple tinted soup can tattoo or an asteroid that looks suspiciously like a vagina. Then people would appreciate it and complement it.

You took the class and didn't buy the required books, because you already knew all there was to know about human psychology?. Talk less about the papers you write, and class's you take, go to the library take out a book on psychology and read it. Maybe that would make you look less like a ******.

If anyone has an issue with Chribba speak now or forever hold your wheesht. By the way, speaking really isn't an option.

Laying claim to Out of Pod Experience since 2007, plain and simple. Keep the trash out of Out Of Pod Experience, If it's EVE Related or deserves a Lock, it does not belong here.

That's a pretty awesome tattoo.

By the way, Negative Guy Who Hates People Liking EVE, Chribba actually runs a fairly heavy-duty server (or two) dedicated to providing EVE-related services. I think that's enough of a permanent, tangible connection to justify one tattoo.
