it's just my opinion that branding yourself with icons from a video game is a dumb decision,and one you will probably come to regret even moreso than that dreaded "ex gf" tattoo.Tattoos are about self expression and honestly if the only thing you can come up with which to express yourself is your time in a video game,then like I said...sad...sad...sad.

Chribba's dad must be pissed. How are tattoos really any kind of self expression when like 90% of people that get them just pick them out of a book at the local tattoo shop?

Now GG Allin... THAT was self expression. If anything, most tattoos are the tatto artist's self expression.

Getting some cheesy tribal bs or something of the sort isn't any better.

and here I thought that tattoo's were something personal, obviously I did this all wrong since I did it for myself and not for others and their opinions.

I can fully understand your thoughts tho, the tattoo artist asked the same thing before starting, "are you sure you will not regret this later on?" - simply put, no I will not regret it.

And here's why, you read the word 'Veldspar' and go wtf stupid video game thing - I read it and go "5 years of memories and good times, time that I spent and enjoyed very much, I will never regret those years". So even if EVE turns bad, I quit, I start to hate it or anything, those 5 years (and the time from that time to now which is also good) is something that will never be bad, and as such I will never regret the tattoo either.

Obviously if you get a tattoo to look cool for others or similar, that might be something you regret, but I don't think many people will regret the things they get if they do it for themselves. Maybe if they do something obscene or really offensive that might not apply. But this word doesn't hurt anyone nor offend so...

tl;dr
People that go omg that's the dumbest thing I ever saw, either don't understand the concept of creating a memorable or haven't seen many "dumb" tattoo's lol
