Chat tab is always on local since 1.2

I have EvE installed on 2 pc's and they both have the chat tab default to local every time I start the game. I've gone through 5 characters on each client and none of them seem to save the chat tab. Before 1.2 I didn't have this issue.

Now that I think of it, it may not be saving any of my client settings. I've logged on and have been missing the dscan window on some characters, leave it up when I log and when I come back on it's gone again.

Any ideas?
