In the Town Hall meeting one of the CSM members said he would try to get the other members to start blogging.

While individual blogs are nice a collective website would be a whole lot better.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

One Blog to rule them all, One Blog to find them,
One Blog to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

Yes a single CSM site Web site hosted by CCP and passed from CSM to CSM would be great.

Then we might actually find them rather than going from site to site and forum post to forum post to actually find out who they are and what they are doing.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Has it occurred to you that most people know what it is and don't care?

They are low grade politicians. At least the Mittani had the good sense of humor to be able to laugh at how farcical the whole thing was.

Last year when I was running around empire advertising the CSM, I was amazed how many times I had to answer the question "Whats the CSM". It was so often I actually ended up having it written in notepad so I couple copy and paste the answer.

The other misconception I ran into a lot was that it was a 'Null sec thing'

The CSM is a null-sec thing right now and it will probably not change for a long time

Umm do you actually know where the current CSM members come from? (Sec space wise, That is)

Edit: I think this shows very clearly that the CSM needs their own web sites with an about us button so people can look and see who the members are and what they normally do in EvE.
It also shows that the populous needs education on the CSM.

A quote from Jita park.

We know that the game's population is split something like 70% hisec, 10% low sec, 20% null-sec. Something like that, the exact figures are not important.
Yet it seems that the CSM is composed entirely out of representatives of big alliances in null-sec. So the CSM which is the voice all of Eve's population represents only 20% of the game's population... Shocked

I know there have been talks with CSM of how to bring more people into nullsec? But why are people that already live in nullsec trying to find ways to bring hi-sec into null-sec? Seems kind of backwards to me. I'd rather people like myself, that live in hi-sec, had more influence in finding ways to make null-sec more attractive to us.

That's just 2 thoughts I wanted to bring up... not sure if this has been discussed or not before.

Ummmmm what?? First off, its completely false that the CSM is all null dudes. 2nd, I see zero effort on the part of the current CSM to drag more highsec people out to nullsec - please cite your sources for this. What you hear is the CSM saying 0.0 should be fixed - which is important and necessary in the long run (and I'm not even one of the dudes that lives out there.)

If you want to have influence, send the CSM a mail. Tell us what you want to see - you'd be suprised at what you hear.....

We gotta move on beyond these stereotypes - posting misleading info like this continues to jade people about the CSM, and causes many to never contact us because they think its hopeless (which only worsens your chances of getting represented). You currently have reps on the CSM that live full-time in ALL areas of space - lowsec, highsec, WH, and null. Take advantage of them.

Thanks for the reply Hans.

The original post by JonnyRandom shows not so much the spreading of misleading info but the fact that he like so many others have no idea about the CSM and needs educating. There have been several forum posters who don't know about the CSM. If people who use the forums are in the dark about it, imagine what the thoughts on the CSM are by non-forum users if they are even aware of its existence.

I know from the last campaign that there are masses of people who don't know what the CSM is or think that its a null sec thing. This needs to change.

Educate the populous.

CSM = nullsec powerblock interest only, and always will be.

Want me to shut up? Remove content from my post,1B. Remove my content from a thread I have started 2B.

This really sums up the need for player education about the CSM. If forum posters have no idea, how can we expect the rest of the populous to possibly have a clue?

Just another me being annoying post on the CSM

Quick quote from the CSM Letter "CSM 7 took office on April 4th, and we are already off to a very good start. We have a much broader base of experience on the CSM this time than ever before, with nearly every play style represented. From 0.0 to wormholes to faction warfare to high-sec (miners as well as suicide gankers), we have people on the CSM with direct experience in every part of the game."

So not a null sec thing as was suggested.

I am probably informing the wrong people as the Trolls will come out from under the bridges. Lol
