Can someone update me on the caldari/gallente state of affairs?

So for the past couple months it looked like Caldari was consistently holding more control than Gallente, pushing to T4 I want to say 3 times?

Then things swung in gal feds favor. They seem to be holding control more consistently and I don't believe caldari has hit t4 in a while now. What changed? Did all of the caldari farming alts retire? People getting tired of the new fw mechanics and dropping out? Gal fed get help from somewhere recently?

I ask this more out of curiosity as a FW low-sec dweller. Not meant to be a flame/troll thread.

None of the above. They're just waiting to time their buster bunking with their upgrade schedule. Don't worry; all will be well and Caldari pilots will continue to be space rich with T4. Things are usually slow during August anyway.

And by the way, they hit t4 several weeks ago. Not eons ago. You guys make it sound like it's the end of the world if T4 doesn't come around every few weeks. FW pilots are so spoiled.

You're looking too much into it. It's just a waiting game. Probably letting the market increase the value of their last dump before taking I mean making another.

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

I might be slightly wrong on exact number but: about 56 gallente systems are vulnerable and about 8 are not vulnerable.

I'm just about to join on the Gallente side but I literally know nothing about fw. Can someone enlighten me on the timing mechanics that Shadow spoke of here. Thanks

Then don't worry about it. You can contribute to Federation warzone control by

1. Plexing in Caldari sov systems that aren't vulnerable; and by

2. Plexing in Gallente sov systems that other Gallente live in and actively defend.

People who know more about it will coordinate on timing and move to actually flip systems and invest LP to cash out at a higher tier. If you pay regular attention and save up LP when you don't need to spend it just to keep afloat, then you'll be ready for these pushes even if you're not in the loop.

And Shadow's speculation is based on how markets work and how warzone control affects the supply of FDU LP products; there's no 'timing' mechanic for pushes that's designed into FW.

You're not watching the market, because you're not coordinating militia pushes to a higher tier level. So "grind away and watch your militia."

And, don't just grind lp. Join some fleets. Do some pvp. Then you might get to know people and join a fw corp. Then you will hear a lot more about lp dumps and have people to bounce all sorts of questions off of.Smile

Gallente Militia pushes their tiers up on the first saturday of the month. So august 1st will be the next time they upgrade.
