Like our current mail, but a chat client. Allowing us to talk to our contacts or be in channels (not spacial ones mind you, no local/constellation/incursion) that might give you an idea of who is in local.

Starting with a Contacts chat would be great I think.

They're working on it (soon (TM)). Probably after the CREST API comes out/

If you're gonna post here thinking your idea is the greatest thing since bacon and that it will save EVE and possibly all humankind with it, you're gonna have a bad time.
