Howdy,

My problem is that when i wanna run 2 accounts, i cannot do that without one minimized, no matter what graphic setting I use (exept ultra ultra low settings)

Here my rig:

AMD Phenom XII 965 4x3,4 GHz
8 Gb 1333 DDR3
Asus AMD 6870 1Gb GDDR5
600W Powersupply

Generally I can say that I have this problem since Inferno. Before that, I could easily play with both of the accounts on 1440x900 resolution.
Every other game works fine like BF3 with 50 FPS on almost Ultra Settings and 2160x1350 Downsampling (2x Anti-Aliasing)
I really can't figure out why EVE bothers my system so much.
Even when I minimize one account, it drops the fps from time to time to under 20 in fighting situations.
Any recommendations what to do?

From the way I experience it, the GPU load really takes a beating when your running multiple clients simultaneously (both active windows) and your scenes become more complex. The EvE client(s) try to offload some of those calculations on to the processor, which isn't really efficient.

I currently run 7850 (over clocked) and with max settings and idling, running two clients simultaneously @ 1920x1080 with capped frames (60). The moment the scene in either client becomes overly complex, it really begins to hit a wall on both clients.

Honestly, EvE is really improving graphically. I'd imagine your running the latest drivers? Also double check CCC to make sure your not forcing enhanced graphics settings.

I ended up just creating a custom resolution on my monitor (1920x1050) and making my EvE clients a fixed resolution. Then simply minimizing one client directly from the visible taskbar and switching to the other. I run three clients like this and it works quite well, though, you have to have a good chunk of GPU memory available; even my 2GB's tends to be lacking when running more then two clients.
