Its made for sniping, its actually even good at that. If you want Blasters its pointless to pick it over the Cata.

This. Get a Catalyst if you want a blaster boat. Cormorants do rails... or act as cheap salvage birds. See fit below as basically the "right" solo pvp fit for a cormie.

This is why the Corm should have four mids (go visit the features and Ideas sticky for destroyers to give feedback on the changes)

Engage at 7-8km and you should be able to control range on most other destroyers, this beats an AC Shield Thrasher.

6,344ehp

236dps at 10km (278dps overheated)

Can swap to spike for 36km optimal to fend off kiters and perfect for FW minor complexes.

Can swap extender for MASB.

75mm? Check. Short range point? Check. Mixed weapon systems? Check.

Yup... looking good.

Yes, rails. If you want to use Blasters, get a Catalyst. As for which rails to get, save yourself the trouble - 125mm is the correct choice.

10km with antimatter, 45+ with spike.

Pretty much the ultimate all-round-destroyer fit. It's only about 180ish dps... but its always fighting in optimal.

All with destroyers 3 and rail spec 1 btw.

Yes, some are shitfit. But this fit has excellent range control, tank, projection (it can hit slicers with longer range ammo like tungsten).

I would link your mails too, but you are too afraid to post with your main

lol don't get mad. I just think 75's are a bad idea where you have proper skills (like Destroyers IV or better) and can afford to fit right. Here's what's wrong with the above fit:

1. Fit 125mm rails...
2. Warp scram on a kiting/range-control dessie? Really? Long point please.
3. AB? Why? Go MWD or go home.
4. Fit a Meta 4 disruptor, but T2 Web (not the other way around).

As for your killmails... very impressive... kind of. Truth is, pretty much any fit that isn't ******** can kill stuff. Your fit isn't ********, it's just not quite right. No need to get mad. Here's something to remember in EvE...

Reasonable minds can differ on any issue.

long point mwd is a completely different fit that depends on staying outside of scram range. With the proliferation of links (and just plain faster ships, like any mwd frig and most afs), this is a very dicey thing to try in something as slow as a cormorant. It works with a slicer because a slicer is one of the fastest ships in the game. Cormorants are not.

Also, because of my low destroyer skill, I had to either go up 1 range level in ammo (like plutonium instead of antimatter), or use frentix.
