Thanks :)

I'm going to be making some tweaks to the residency algorithm shortly - there's a few things it doesn't factor in yet which it should, as well as eliminating people that have probably been evicted a long time ago, etc.

I've created a seperate development website to test things on instead of leaving debugging on the live site for a few hours like I managed to do yesterday Oops I didn't do this before because I wasn't expecting it to be used a lot - I originally posted this thread hoping that maybe a few people would be interested enough to take a look P

I'm aware that some people are experiencing errors on a few systems, this again relates to the residency algorithm and some spurious data.

Thanks to those of you that sent an ISK donation - was greatly appreciated. Smile

Something I feel I should add after getting some feedback yesterday is regarding trust...

The site doesn't need trust to work - in fact currently the only function that requires trust is automatically refreshing your location (so it can know where you are). Originally I had set up the site so that it would ask you as soon as you visited to trust it - I realise now that this was probably not a good idea because why would you trust something you've never used? To this end I've disabled the popup asking for trust - people will have to decide to trust the website (or not) themselves.

The site doesn't store anyones queries or log anything besides basic webstats. Systems that are checked are cached for a period of time to provide a speedier response for subsequent queries.

Very slick site. The simplicity makes it very useful. The bit I have tested (the system I may or may not be in... >.>) was acurate and I can't wait to try it out more. Keep up the good work :).

Very cool. I have to admit that I'll probably still use Static Mapper for now but looking forward to seeing this finished and all polished.

This has been fixed with the most recent update.

I have completely overhauled the residency algorithm - it now considers a few more events that it previously didn't, as well as tweaking the layout a bit.

More functionality changes coming soon. :)

Is it known that some WH's haven't updated in a while? A quick check on one of my corps' WH's say it hasn't been updated since June.

When Bon Scott died and he appeared before St. Peter at the gates of Heaven, St. Peter looked at his record and told him he couldn't get in. Just then, God screams at Peter, "Let him in, Karen Carpenter is driving me nuts. I want to hear some music with balls. We'll haggle over the paperwork later." At least I hope that's what happened.

Not quite sure what you mean by this. Any chance you could mail me the wormhole ID and what you believe is wrong with it, or elaborate on what it is or isn't saying?

from which site are you pulling data about static connections? because i think i found some wrongly listed ones (and where staticmapper was also wrong while eveeye was correct)

The statics are in a local database that was created probably over a year ago, they aren't scraped from anywhere. If there is an updated list anywhere (preferably in SQL format) I'd love to know :)

Yeah I also found a few where wormhol.es is wrong, obviously wrong like having c4's with k-space statics, but wormnav is correct.

I wonder where wormnav gets its data.
