Why is it mission NPCs never seem to use drones and yet you often find drones in wrecks? Not very clever AI.

It's one of those quirky things in the game. Like why do battleships drop rocket launchers, but don't ever actually fire rockets at you?

Because in places like World's Collide and the Blockade, you would be dealing with 100 buzzing scout drones annihilating you (and lagging you to hell), even though the rat ships barely scratched you.

And that's assuming it's all damage drones. Imagine if jamming/TP/scram/neut/web drones were involved. Every level 4 where you deal with whole room aggro would be certain death without any hope of escape, no matter what kind of pimped out T3 you flew.

And here I thought this would be a thread about drones having total crap bounty and salvage compared to every pirate and navy faction..
