I am looking for a good active and passive Nighthawk fitting for running Angel anoms and escalation sites. I am not sure which one I am going to go with yet. I have had good luck so far with Drakes as long as I do not attempt the hardest sites.

What kind of sites can a Nighthawk do and not do and how does it compare to the Drake?

I would also be willing to entertain other ships if you can explain why they would work better.

Thank you.

It's much more fun if people come up with a suggestion instead of being lazy...
Nighthawks are mostly cookie cutter due to fitting restrictions, but make an effort and you might learn something!

Hint: Fit it like a boring Drake

So a passive fit works best?

Does the Nighthawk have a lot more dps than the drake in a passive fit?

I'd call it slightly more. At all 5 with kinetic ammo, the Nighthawk is dealing 240DPS with a full rack of unsupported HMLs, the Drake 212. The gap gets closer if you don't have Command Ships 5.
The NH also has an extra low which you might be able to use for more BCUs.

This I learned from opening up a fitting tool for a few seconds. Do you have one?
