In the two dozen or so corporations I've joined in the past year on my alts for the purposes of awoxing, only one of them has required that level of API access. I don't think this problem you're talking about is as widespread as you think it is.

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.

This post is shear genius

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

I remember the days when all it would take to get past "security" was a poorly photoshopped screenshot of your login screen. Smile

I've had friends tell me they can't talk to me anymore because the heads of their corps are reading through their emails to make sure they're not doing anything they don't like... This is screwed up... I really think it's time that API keys went away or were limited so that it's not possible for emails and private conversations to be monitored. If it's possible it will be expected. If people don't enjoy the game because they have no privacy they may not continue playing. I think it's best for everyone if the controlling pricks that insist on invading everyone's privacy had that ability taken away. Let private conversations remain private for everyone...

If your friend is that scared of his CEO he should grow a pair and either leave the corp and do what he wants or talk to you and get kicked.

If my CEO ever asked that i would troll him by sending non-sensical mails to kwown awoxers/spies:

"The "Fish" has been found in the "Lake" , begin operation "fishing rod"."

Other than that it's really easy to get around such petty methods and you should always make an api that expires after 1 day when using them for corp apps. If your ceo is so anal about it , leave your ****** corp and/or pod him.
