Shift click option for secondary inventory windows - working?

Hello everyone,
before I post in EGD and get flamed I hope to get an answer here.

The patch notes state something like this:

Added a Settings tab into all Inventory windows that allows players to make all secondary Inventory windows open up in a new window as the default behavior, making it unnecessary to hold the Shift key.


EDIT:
What is meant by secondary invenotry windows?

However it's not that clear which setting it is, I think it is:

Try to use existing info window if any(Except if shift is pressed).


I know, it sounds like an old behavior regarding the info window, however there's an option above the mentioned one which regards some stacking and shift mechanic.

So the question is: Which option is it and does it work?

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.
