If someone steals from your can or wreck, then find your nearest CONCORD station , dock, and then talk to an agent to file a petition against the criminal. Once you do that, the next time the criminal runs into CONCORD (i.e. travels in concord space, or if concord is on-grid for some other reason) they will fine the criminal and you'll get a portion of that fine as reimbursement.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

When Regan was but a podling he remembers back to the big bad rifters who would come and steal his ore.

This made Regan a sad podling.

Then Regan discovered secure cans, and then get this, friends. They could like help u n stuff.

This made Regan happy.

So OP EvE is a hard mistress, it's time to suck it up princess, learn from your mistakes. Flippers only profit from those who let themselves be robbed.

I am a fairly cuddly carebear but a game with no risk would be pointless. I don't want someone to steal my stuff in missions so I fly in a fleet with ships to counter that. I also don't mission around Jita (because thats just asking for it). If someone is going to steal my loot I will either shoot the wreck or be prepared to jam-scram and dust them with our fleet and failing that, well thats life.

Dude with the new ship designs there's plenty of ore space in both the procurer and retriever and T-2 counterparts, hasn't somebody told you, want to jetcan mine do it in a mission its safer 99% of canflippers are lazy just like their lazy. miner counterparts as far as wreck stealing haha, its like those people who go through the trash looking for recyclables just blue it what's in most roid rat wrecks is 99.99999999999% trash, I know where the rats drop nice stuff in hi sec but I ante telling.

I understand the hatred towards those that loot a can or steal a wreck to instigate a fight.. but let me tell you of a very true story of a noob/victim that benefited from such tactics.

About a month ago, me and two of my wingmates found a missioner in high security space and decided to see if we could get him to fight. After a long chat with the individual, we tricked him into stealing a can. We then got our Astarte to jump him and then our two frigates made short work of him.

He was immensely angry and rightly so, but what is so wonderful is what occurred afterwards.

We waited a short while before striking up a conversation with him again, but when we did we eventually then decided to bring the guy up on our TS. The next four hours we taught him how to not get tricked again, how to save his ship and the work he has invested time in game.

He actually found a corporation through his interactions with us. He also learned the ultimate lesson in EVE, don't blindly trust anyone.

So what you are saying is, it promotes a realistic outlook on life instead of some childish chivalry fantasy in which the honourable guys get the prize? I have no problem with that. They might grow from mission loot thieves, into respectable bankers some day.

In all seriousness, Eve has helped me in life as well as other MMOs I have played (Battleground Europe for example).

I knew these things before but Eve reinforced them and let me recognise them:

- Everyone is out for themselves but this is ok!

- Almost everything is a scam.

- It's ok to look out for yourself...to demand your fair share. To not do so makes you a putz.

- Friendship, trust, and alliances are extremely important. Do not throw them away for stupid reasons...and almost every reason is stupid.

- You can do well on your own but to REALLY do well requires cooperation.

- Your reputation REALLY IS....REALLY TRUELY is very important. Don't throw it away for something stupid and almost every reason is stupid.

- You can't be helpful if you are weak. Make yourself strong and this makes you effective in helping others.

- Being negative or 'a realist' is not helpful to you or anyone. Be positive.

- There is worth and honor standing by someone when they are hurt or going down. Do not be so quick to ditch these people. In addition, it is worth some loss to try to help. After all, it is easy to help someone when they are kicking ass but people will remember when you stood by them as their world is falling apart.

- Taking a good whack or setback need not be the end of the world. Stand back up and keep slugging.

- Not all fights are winnable. Sometimes you are just going to lose. Hey, that's life.

- Life is not fair but that's ok! Don't fixate on fairness.

Had a guy from Warsmiths crash one of my missions and he took out not just my ships but a friends. We ended up joining them a couple months later and actually had more fun than going on mission X for the umpteenth time.

CCP should stop once and for all allowing others to steal from your can or steal from your wreak. All these griever are basically under the blessing of CCP to bully younger players out of the game. No other games give you such damaging emotion by allowing griever to take place.

How many people do we know grind hours for mission only to have the mission objective stolen to push you into PvP with other solo or entire fleet on standby in the moment to retaliated or recover the items. All that to beautified their kill-board. End of the day in a noob ship or PvE fit, you end up degrading your standing with the faction as well as the corporation because you can't complete your mission. Baring in mind, if you complete a mission, you only gain standing with the corp. We all know that faction standing is so much harder to gain.

CCP basically encourage that stealing is acceptable thus unorthodox activities is promoted. This kind of mindset will not only promote more and more griever inside the game but will also promotes to teenagers that working hard for something is not recommended, in fact it is poor stupidity......just go steal it. Being a griever is so much rewarding than grinding mission or grinding ore. In fact more and more people are creating trial accounts just for the purpose of performing act of grieving.

I am sure that plenty of people out that would disagree with me as they take great joy in making other people unpleasant and emotional. I do accept critics but I do hope CCP would eventually comment on this topic because this mechanic is driving new players away on top of their training mechanic.

We do know why DUST is F2P because if they gonna start DUST like what Eve online is, they would only get the same players of Eve Online to play DUST and never new players. Do not be confuse, I am not commenting on the looooooong training time, it the whole idea that Eve Online is promoting to the public...stealing is right and encourage. So the next time don't ever queue up for your movie tickets, just go top the queue and steal his wallet, he will pop out of the queue and you are 1 queue lesser to get your tickets Twisted How often do we see people in real life being vex and brainwash by the online game he is playing Roll

IS THIS WHAT CCP WANTS TO PROMOTE?????????? A simple Yes or No by CCP would even be nice QuestionQuestionQuestionQuestionQuestionBear

I lolled

Eve Online is a cold hard mistress. The kind of mistress that shackles your my little ponies to some dungeon cellar wall and then proceeds to molest them, laugh at them afterwards before calling the rest of the village rapists downstairs for a go.

Deal with it.

Eve is about Capital ships, WiS, Boobs, PI and Isk!
