Nulli were better farmers, getting 50k LP/day overall. Minmatar only did 39k LP yesterday :)

Seriously?

I'll give this a 3/10 as you already got a lot of bites before I saw this.

we could log in and flip every system ourselves leaving each one open to amarr farms. Would require effort and a actually level of care I don't have.

Perhaps someone does thou.

Don't ask about Italics, just tilt your head.

We now have intel that at least two players have been plexing in ships with guns. One even in a pirate frigate. And looking at the sovereignty map the contestation levels on the 33 systems needed to hit T5 is relatively evenly spread between 16% and 83% suggesting the minmatards are already halfway from that goal.

That is truly impressive since it is only 30 hours since the massive farming campaign started. Maybe the two brave pilots that fitted guns on their ship has made a difference? Or maybe the gunless farmers are just to numerous.

It's just question of willingness, speaking as person who twice (2 1/2 if you count recent Nulli thing) set up a shop in Eugidi constellation and plexed it down.

Right now Amarr would have a golden opportunity to make the FW area more dynamic as they could actually put bases to Metropolis/Heimatar and probably defend them against gunless farmers and spread the fighting around a bit instead of the immediate vicinity of Kamela.

Of course the window of opportunity is closing rapidly since Matar farmers are gleefully retaking lost systems now.

This is a very good point. But let me say a few things

1) Amarr could set up bases in akkio and even in minmatar high sec. The navy is not that big of an issue. So its not really a matter of timing.

2) The problem is plexing mechanics right now are boring and not really a pvp activity. Chasing farmers is not as fun as the larger fleet fights we are getting in kourm. Qcats came specifically to farm nullbears. EM is just based there and were based there before fw. So I look at them as really as a non fw entity that said hey why not join fw and be able to shoot amarr without the the sec status hit.

That said I do agree the ball is more or less in amarr's court. Do we want to split up and give up some pvp in the short run (until we force more minmatar up here) to do plexing up there? Right now the answer seems a pretty clearly no. Lots of militia are really tired of talking about "tiers" and just want to take what isk we have and get some pew.

I law used to base out of oto and I would go ahead and get lots of plexing fights with em. But they are mainly a EU tz corp and ILaw is mainly US tz. So I was sort of the exception (I would get the fights on my lunch break) as most of ilaw was getting kills with neutrals. That included test - who decided to base out of out station. We farmed them like qcats did nulli. I think it was even uglier.

But after test left things were slow at night. Really slow. So we moved back. We were going to base out of egmar frer oto and arzad. But then the station lockouts rule was announced.

I have been pushing to have more amarr corps base out of akkio and the minmatar high sec systems out there. But really there isn't that much happening most nights and I can't blame amarr for not wanting to sit around chasing alts all night. I don't want to push too hard because it likely will involve allot of boredom before it gets better - if it ever does.

If ccp makes plexing an actual pvp mechanic I think you will see allot more amarr up there.

Nulli kept farming systems that were already vulnerable. So they ended up with lp that was effectively half the value of minmatar's after minmatar hit tier 5 again.

So assumign your numbers are correct. Nullli spent more time button spinning but they only cashed out effectively 25k lp per day compared to minmatars 39k lp.

Yes the plexing amounts from the minm is truly astonishing. Clearly the farming alts are having far too much of an effect in fw on the consequences for the actual fw players to enjoy.

ccp loves balance, where is your balance now!?

Well if we're doing the same old whines don't forget to add the fact that it's boring.

Enter plex and now go round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round

Plexing is actually allot of fun if some enemies come that want to fight.

The problem is for the vast majority of plexes no enemies who want to fight even know where you are plexing. So obviously they don't come to fight.

Run plexes in populated systems. Either fight (win), complete plex with no opposition (win isk), fight in plex while still capping plex (double win), bail from plex to get a fight when friendly intel spots a potential target (win), provide intel and then blob the f*** out of the targets when your fleet arrives (win again).

With the exception of Kamela we pretty much don't have any populated systems most of the time.
