He, like so many miners who've bothered to use SISI, had decided that the 5% buff was fait accompli, so bringing it back to 3% is a nerf.

This thread is just another example of no good deed goes unpunishedSad I don't mine but my husband does as do alot in our alliance and I have not heard one complaint from them, they are all very happy and know what ship to use in various conditions because they read the patch notes-amazing how that works. CCP did a great job on this balance, giving miners good options without taking away the option to gank that others seem to enjoy.

This was the same complaint issued by the scores of horse poop scoopers at the advent of the horseless carriage. Progress always hurts someone. A couple hundred mill for T2 cargo rigs is a small price to pay for a more logical arrangement of mining ships.

You know I had a cargo rigged hulk, and when the change came I didn't really care. It's a game and now I'm living up the glory of this new mining system.

Oh no, Hulk isn't the best ship for every mining job. This is really bad because now I have to choose between six hulls what kind of mining I prefer today.

Stop whining and enjoy this great patch.

Hulk wasn't the best ship before, either. A Mackinaw would out-mine a Hulk with max skill and the right fit, if you mined ice. Likewise the skiff for Mercoxit. Nothing has changed really, you still need to think about which ship you want to fly depending on what you want to mine. Except now, the ship you want to fly is a hulk. For everything. Unless you don't feel like hauling as much, or are afraid of gankers.

I give up. Miners really are the stupidest people imaginable. You miner-haters have been right all along.

Miners have been lobbying for changes like the ones proposed for months. But of course OP knows best.
