If you didn't have book marks, having a scout traveling ahead in a fast ship to sit 15 k the other side of the gate and warping to him, and no fleet warp so some one was always warping to the wrong distance or object Lol

The Thorax was a sporty white pwnmobile.

If you take all the sand out of the box, only the cat poo will remain.

How do you "loose" a battleship? That sounds like it would hurt.

Back in my day, the game manual in the first game box was already highly outdated and full of goofy pics of Megathron firing beam weapons....

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Titans on fire outside "The Alamo" of NOL-M9. I watched massive Super Capital fleets glitter in the dark near the BKG-Q2 gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain...  Time to die.

... you could stack 2 microwarp drives and an afterburner on a Thorax and go like the dickens.

... you could conquer a dockable 0.0 station with a small gang in less than 30 minutes.

... you could rat 0.0 battleships in an interceptor.

... you could fit cruise or torps in your frigate launchers.

... if you wanted to fly safely outside of high-sec you had to make your own bookmarks or trust the ones you bought.

... capitol ships hadn't arrived in New Eden.

... EvE was fun to play.

I had one of the early models that only had 3 gears iirc. That pic shows the one with the extra black gear knob.

I only had 3 gears, when my toggle chain wasn't stolen while I had it parked outside the shop. I went through that many of those things.

They were deadly down hills. I came off more than once due to the front wheel and handle bars starting to shake side to side. Lol

I rode mine til it fell to pieces, it was probably the toughest thing I owned as a kid, everything else I managed to wear out much more quickly.

Not sure what happened to mine tbh. Had some great times on it though.

You would be stuck in a gate waiting for a GM to set you free while wondering if your tens of thousands of gate to gate bookmarks were a factor in your predicament (...and they were not)...

CCP would really screw you bad.

You would spend months training for a ship and the massive drones that went with it but before you could finish your training they would change the ship completely.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!
