Where do you do PI?
What kind of PI you do and how long are your extraction timers?
Why you do PI?
- or POS fuel
- need it in T2 production
- profit
- other
When did you start doing PI?
Do you like doing PI?
Scared of Dust514?

(1.) W-Space
(2.) Extract R0 and go all the way to P4
(3.) 2 day cycles
(4.) sell so I can PLEX my accounts
(5.) I can't remember
(6.) Yes I still do
(7.) No. It probably will be a long time before I'll need to adept to any real danger.

Participating is optional. You don't need to answer what you don't want Cool

Where do you do PI?
Highsec, though I will be moving some factories into a wh with a 0% tax.

What kind of PI you do and how long are your extraction timers?
P0 - P1 which is exported and imported into factory planets. On planets that p2 is an option (single planet p2) where both p1's are readily available I will then do P2 too, as long as the max yield for the planet isn't effected.

Why you do PI?
Isk and to have an umlimited source of POS structures.

- or POS fuel
Make it as ice buy orders are filled. It can be great money but with the new barge changes the profits will be going down.

- need it in T2 production
Yes

- profit
Profit from manufacturing, I never sell pi materials.

- other
Not much other uses than POS, P2, fuel...

When did you start doing PI?
1 account for about 8 months. Upgrades to 12 accounts about 6 weeks ago, with the last alt finishing training about 1 week ago.

Do you like doing PI?
I do, but it fits my style of play. Quite a bit to do inregards to all areas of PI with alot of work dealing with spreadsheets.

Scared of Dust514?
Not at all. CCP will have to give players several months of warning, not only for any changes that will be happening but as well as to players who have POS's. And there will be a nice long grace period before any changes would occur. I wouldn't expect anything to change for at least a year (Whenever the new POS structres are released would be when to expect PI changes). Also I can't see PI being removed from Eve and added to dust. Chances are far more likely that PI will be available in both games.

(1.) low sec
(2.) P2's + 1 P3 planet
(3.) 1 day cycle
(4.) sell so I can PLEX my accounts. I do POS fuel but I'll change into P4's soon
(5.) I did it in the very first weeks on my eve-life, but seriously since 3 months ago
(6.) sure I do, even if I can forget my planets sometime :p
(7.) Not really. In the worst case I'll move my production in w-space even if I hate the w-logistics.

1. Low Sec on POCOs owned by my corp.
2. P0 > P1 extraction planets with 1 day +1hour cycles, along with P1>P2 factory planets and a P1>P3 factory
3. Formerly profit, now POS fuel blocks, which becomes profit eventually anyway.
4. One of the first things I did on this character, shortly after training up industrials.
5. I do enjoy doing it. It's comforting to know that even if I can't spend a lot of time on EVE on a given day, 15 minutes of work will ensure I get a decent income for the day.
6. Not at all. I'm excited. Perhaps PI goods will come out of their slump and be even more profitable.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

Where?
High sec, right next to a trade hub to make logistical issues as painless as possible.

What kind?
Factory worlds, all the way. I'm not a member of a corp that holds sov or a POCO, so logistics, taxes, and the general irritation of having every other person in existence try to kill me make low and null not worth it, in terms of profit or headaches.

Why?
Profit! PI, with a decent plan, is a good way to make money with a minimum of hassle. My profit-to-effort ratio is quite good, as I can contract most of my hauling for cheap, and the parts that demand my personal attention can be done while tabbing out to web-browse between jumps, thus adding up to very little work.

When?
I started fiddling with PI as a side activity when EVE became my 'main' game, a couple years ago. Since it was a back-burner activity it actually took me a year and a half to work out, by experiment, a way to PI that would give me profit without making me homicidal.

Like?
No. I find the interface clunky and buggy, and the whole PI system generally irritating to work with. The only reason I do it at all is because I've found a low-hassle system that keeps me from getting burnt out.

Dust?
Well, to my knowledge the Dusties won't be fighting over high sec worlds...so bring 'em on. :P
