I understand this belongs in the 'My EvE' section, but as it is part of the WH community, I wanted to reference it direct to you guys.

This Podcast is a new venture, and if you might be interested in this please head over to 'My EvE' and have a browse at the post. Or just add comments here.

I have many years experience in WH's, so I have a long list of episodes to cover. But I'd like to hear any quirky requests that I may have overlooked. And we will be covering topics that will hopefully be of interest to both the new players and the vets. I am at the scripting stage of the pilot episode, so any requests of coverage/topics would be welcome.

Hmmm.. well, define 'main' when I have 16 alts spread across different Corp's doing different things. Is it the toon I've had the longest? The one with the most skill points? The oldest toon by year? The one with the most ISK?

I'd say perhaps the one that is used the most, but as there are 5 that I use equally it's hard to say. And my original toons I used when I first started playing are long gone.

In all seriousness, though - what does this one being in an NPC Corp have to do with anything? I've used Masikari for a while now cos that's just what happened. What difference does it make if I use another one? Which Corp do you want?

Myz - I have a lot of respect and energy for the WH community, which is why I want to do this. They are usually a step apart from the rest of EvE. But if this is just going to get trolled then the only thing that will collapse is this thread. Meh. If that's what you want then just troll away. It's no skin off my nose - the Podcast will still be made and this thread will just get buried. Just thought some people might like the opportunity to chip in some genuine idea's that they would like to hear being discussed. Thought the WH community might like the idea of a WH-specific Podcast. That's all, really.

I say go for it an IMO link your podcast, it hurts noone as is relevant to WH, unlike keith plank and his 101st **** idea or the chest beating of other useless **** posts that fills this place half the time.

I think its more that you claim to have many years of experiences to draw on but post from an alt with non. You sound like your just trying to gather info on a topic you in fact know little about maybe, or just have information that's to boring or commonly known already to share.

Posting or starting a project from a character already established in the WH community would lend an air of authenticity that peeks people's interest. Who wants to read second rate observations from a second rate WH player? i have plenty of things id love to share but in all honesty there not unique or overly interesting so i don't.

But i suppose as they say the proof is in the eating, so we can all judge the finished thing i guess.

Hmmm, now this is a worthy explanation and it makes sense. I suppose I've had Akinesis sat in WH space the longest. But if people want to see a toon in a Corp then this is as good as any.

Ashimat - your Blog was forwarded onto my Corp. Eronious said he'd wished he'd overheated his Torps Blink We've had a couple of encounters now. It's pretty cool when you run into the same faces!

I suppose in the beginning we will be discussing how to get into WH space, so the first few will probably be mainly aimed towards new players/people new to WH's, MadbaM. That will not be interesting to older players, sure. But then we will have other discussions that are of a more general approach that should be. It'll all be broken up - anyone interested in episodes can just cherry-pick. Swings and round-a-bouts. Different episodes will grab different people (hopefully!).

Links to what?? As mentioned in the OP, I'm at the scripting stage!

Gonna change the title cos people aren't reading the OP properly. I'm after quirky idea's to cover that I may have missed. For instance, one guy has suggested interviews with the original Wormholers when they first came out (what they expected and what they found).

This isn't a release thread.

Edit: when I get home I'll post all the idea's I have so far, in case I am portraying myself as 'clueless'

A wormhole corp/alliance spotlight each ep. Being in a small, relatively new and noobish wormhole corp, discussion on the big players interests me a great deal. Bonus points for AU corp/alliance discussions.

Thumbs up from me. I like WH podcasts and there's been some great ones.

A couple of tips though:

One person talking is hard to take for long unless you're an amazing orator. If you aren't as compelling as Patrick Stewart break it up with co-presenters, guests and/or music.

There's a balance between banter and useful information. All banter and it's not really an Eve podcast any more, it's like someone taping their party and broadcasting it. All information and attention wanders.

Most people in Eve love to talk and it's interesting to hear both sides. If you fight someone gank/are ganked by someone or rob/get robbed by someone invite them on to the show.

Don't mind the big boys Blink, look to other, smaller corps with more experience. I think they have more in common with what you do than the dragons in deep C6...

Assuming you don't live in a C6 yourself ofc...

Hey guys. Thanks for the responses and it's all noted!

There will be three of us hosting, with a fourth standing-by. Unfortunately I am no Patrick Stewart - my voice grates a bit too much for it to just be me, lol I wouldn't put you guys through that. I have already a newbie guest-speaker, and a couple of well-placed alliance folk in the pot. There will be music and possibly some ads to break it up. I'm playing around with some 'mini acting scenario's' at the moment to see if the pay-off is worth the effort.

Some of the things we'll talk about I have listed below, but I have a meeting tomorrow at 21:00GMT with the other co-hosts so I can get their ideas, too.

- What WH's are all about (probably pilot episode) - just a general overview of everything below:

- Getting into WH's
- Play methods (roaming/daytripping/pvp/permanent/etc)
- WH Mechanics
- POS's (Setting up / choice / POS bashing / etc)
- WH Sites (Sleeper/Ladar/Grav/Mag/Rad) - how to run them, what to expect, ships fittings, etc. Possibly be broken up into different episodes (depending on episode length)
- Methods of PvP
- Running a WH Corp
- Industry
- Alliances
- What different WH Classes offer (C1-6)
- Capital ships
- Collapsing / Spawning WH's
- Scanning
- Staying 'safe'
- Logistics

This will be the 'teaching' part in each episode. But I am planning on other things such as interviews, question time, guest speakers, etc. as well. Run time is predicted to be 20-30 mins, but this is yet to be discussed in the meeting and probably won't be decided until after the pilot episode.

For information I started in a C2 and now live in a C4. A have experience in C1-C5. I won't talk bullsh*t so, for instance, when it comes to talk about C6 I will have a guest speaker in.
