T1 frigs are now a mess

so as part of the T1 frig overhaul and 'rebalancing' initiative, the plan was to replace the T1 mining frigates with combat roles in favour of a single new ORE mining frigate for the new industrial players. however, this new frig has turned out to be for the winter release and not Inferno 1.2. am i the only one that sees a problem with this? if T1 frigs are going to be re-jigged again in the winter due to the addition of the new ORE frig, then the T1 frig overhaul is not complete! (we have a redundant mining frig for each race where a combat ship will soon be).

it appears only the rookie ships have been altered - primarily to support EWAR - and now each race has two dedicated EWAR ships and nothing else has changed. am i the only one who feels that t1 frigs are a mess now?

it seems that instead of valid content some shiney new T3 skins have been the only refined addition to the game...again...

The ORE frigate is due out in the winter expansion and the other frigates roles are due for altering at the same time.

Well it is a bit lame doing half the frigs and delayingt the other half, but is it really worth a thread?

They're doing one frig at a time, the mining frigs will be last due to the ORE frig coming out in the winter expansion...

This is the 2nd frig they balanced, next month will be another, until they're all done and then they move onto cruisers...

They adjusted the T1 inties too. Does that help?

Some of the delays are for good reason. There is no point rebalancing the ewar frigs when they are going to be re-assessing ewar for example. The mining frigs shouldn't really be done till their replacement (ORE frig) is ready. Scanning frigs already do their role quite well and are a low piority.

So yeah they are balancing them as its sensible to do so.

The only real wrong move in this process is that they jumped the gun with the Tormentor, so Amarr have lost their mining/cargo-bonused frigate but the other races still have theirs.

Would you rather see them done class by class in every patch, or be held back until they're all done in two years?
