Time for England to throw another budget increase at their homeland security ministries.

But if they had pre-deployed plastic coffins, the coffins could have been used as boats which would have obviated the need for coffins. Thus, it wouldn't have made sense to pre-deploy coffins to New Orleans.

Sure it would, we would just have to mark them as general use coffins rather than role specific coffins. Not to mention the humorous irony in seeing a bunch of people on the news using a coffin to save their lives.
