Question regarding Saved Locations and multi-stage deadspace

I've tried saving a location when I'm 2 or 3 gates into a mission, and if I try to warp back to the saved location - it just takes me to the first gate of the mission. I've noticed you can "warp to fleet member" if you're grouped up with someone, though.

Is that the way it's supposed to be? Or am I doing something wrong?

All warps into deadspace locations ( both in missions and complexes ) will result in you warping to beacon at the first gate.

In theory deadspace locations shouldn't be accessible by warps ( they are called deadspace after all ) and the only way of getting there should be through acceleration gates.

Sometimes it is possible to warp directly into the complex ( happened to me few times ) but it is most likely a glitch.

EDIT : warping to fleet member, who is inside deadspace pocket will still warp you to the first beacon.

Working as intended.

When mission is created, pockets of space are put into sort of special bubbles. As long as the mission is active, you can not circumvent those bubbles and rules governing them, these are game mechanics, there is nothing you can do. When you complete the mission, when you click Complete Mission button on the Agent Conversation window, the special bubbles and laws that govern them are removed.

So lets say you want to loot and salvage your mission wrecks. You have two options:

Option 1
Go through the rooms while mission is active.

Option 2
Bookmark each room. Go to agent, turn in the mission. The bubbles and mission gates are removed. Use bookmarks to warp to the location where each room of the mission used to be.

As you can see, using Option 1 you don't need bookmarks, but you might take too long doing mission and then looting+salvaging, you can loose mission bonus. Using Option 2 you collect mission reward, collect mission bonus, then loot and salvage on your own time instead of using mission assigned time.
