Small Fleet Tactics and Mission Running.

Hello all, I have a quick question.

What is the general strategy for mission running in a small fleet of 2-5 players?

My corp's general approach is to have one player set as the "Tank" whom will go into a mission pocket and pull the entire pocket's aggro before the other players enter in ships that usually fit very minimal and sometimes no tank.

Of late this has caused a bit of headbutting, at least for me, as I have come close to and/or actually lost ships in the more difficult missions as some my corp mates get upset when even a few frigs and cruisers have gotten on them.

I have argued that we should all be able to fit moderate tanks AND a decent level of dps, then all of us jump into the pockets of missions at the same time so we can split the aggro.

What should we generally go guys?

lvl 4 sec miss---for loot/salvage/lp:

Expensive fleet:

1 noctis
2 active tank-i use torp golem
3 torp golem

for golems you need good skills

T2fitt and faction BCU,T2 impromodules,implants for torp golem....

Any lvl 4 quest in max 30 min...usualy 10-20 min

Cheap fleet:
1 noctis
2 any tank BS
3 DPS BS
4 DPS BS

The speed of quest depends how many DPS BS you have....

lvl 4 sec miss-blitz for lp:

BC like drake or T3 ship like tengu...

lvl 5 sec mis--blitz or for gallente tag only:

Stealth Bombers

fleet from SBs or
fleet from one passive tengu and SBs

Tactics in lvl 4 quests are:always tank/tanks enter in room..shoot trigers...take full agro..enter DPS BS..start killing all...enter Noctis..salvage
for lvl 4 blitz misions fleet from 2-3 Drakes its optimal...
also one passive Tengu can blitz lvl 4 mission
you cant blitz any lvl 4 miss like AE/GE/EA....
