-- After getting some good advice, I have decided to close my current offering, however I will leave the below OP intact, in the interest of transparency. --

The first thing you will notice is that this is a very young character; it is, but the man behind the screen has been playing for about 14 months now, and loving every second of it. I don't have a proper "main" at the moment, so it was either posting with Darrien here, or posting with the character I just recently bought; neither character is going to inspire very much trust I'm afraid. I am a character trader, and sold both of my starting characters for start-up capital. I have been character trading actively for the past few weeks, though I have been observing the market since I started playing eve, and have sold and bought a total of three characters for a combined profit of 12 billion isk. The nature of my business is such that 12b is actually quite a small amount; I am constantly having to pass up opportunities because I lack the capital. Hopefully one or more investors will be able to help me with that.

--Collateral--

Tengu - standard PVE subsystem configuration, with the following faction/DED modules: 2x Gistii A-type shield boosters, 1x Republic fleet 10mn AB, 2x Caldari Navy ballistic control system.

Tengu - subs: supplemental screening, dissolution sequencer, capacitor regeneration matrix, accelerated ejection bay, fuel catalyst. This Tengu is unfitted at the moment; I stripped it down to get a quick capital injection recently.

Packaged Ships - Covetor, Daredevil, Dramiel, Federation Navy Comet, Jaguar

Rigged ships (unfitted) - 4x Drake, 2x Hurricane, 2x Cheetah, 1x Buzzard, 1x catalyst, 1x bestower

Modules - I have a container full of spare mods, probably worth in the neighborhood of 150 mil

Faction/DED Modules - 2x Caldari Navy Ballistic control system, 1x Caldari navy medium shield extender, 1x Coreli C-type 1mn AB, 1x Gist B-type 100mn AB, 1x gistii b-type 1mn AB, 1x gistii b-type 1mn MWD.

Ammo - A container full of various Ammo types, ~100 mil

Random stuff - A container full of various items including implants, and a few cheap t1 BPOs; not worth more than 250 mil

--Current Assets--

-12.6b liquid isk

- One character that I estimate to be worth 18 billion isk

--Liabilities--

-I owe no isk or assets currently

-I pay for my account with RL money, and will continue to do so

--Bond Terms--

-50 bonds issued, with a face value of 100 mil each

-10% interest, 10 mil per bond, or 500 mil total interest paid out (Special Offer: I will double the interest to 20% on the first ten bonds sold!)

-The bonds will mature in 30 days; I reserve the right to pay back the full principal, plus interest (the full 10 or 20 percent rate), before the bond fully matures.

--Notes--

- I took a look at a few other bonds, and the mention of an Audit came up repeatedly; I am guessing this involves an API check. I would be willing to submit to an audit by a trusted 3rd party, particularly if a single investor would like to purchase all ten bonds.

- I would be willing to disclose information about my past activities, especially to a single investor. I can point to the three characters that were bought and sold, though I am not sure if I will be able to prove 100% to a 3rd party that I was the one doing the buying and selling.

- This is my first bond, and I do not actively follow the MD section. If there is anything I have missed please let me know.

--Contact--

- If an investor/3rd party would like to talk to me in game, either respond in this thread, or send me an eve mail; We can set up a time that will be workable for both parties.

Over 90 thread views, 1 like, and not a single interested investor.

I have adjusted the OP to reflect the current state of affairs. I spent 900m isk on a ship, so current liquid isk balance is now 12.6b

I have decided to alter the terms of the bond, in an effort to attract investors:

--Bond Terms--

-50 bonds issued, with a face value of 100 mil each

-10% interest; 10 mil per bond; or 500 mil total interest paid out (Special Offer: I will double the interest to 20% on the first ten bonds sold!)

-The bonds will mature in 30 days; I reserve the right to pay back the full principal, plus interest (the full 10 or 20 percent rate), before the bond fully matures.

How are you planning to handle the collateral if there is just one investor? 3rd party or just hand it over? By my own conservative estimate the collateral is worth about 3bn so about 60% collateralized.

For a single Investor I would be willing to simply set up a contract with items for specified investment amount. However, my feeling is that at this point I am unlikely to attract a single large investor, so I am trying to secure a universally trusted third party on these forums that can hold the collateral and verify this to potential investors.

It doesn't look like I will be able to secure a third party to hold my collateral. The third parties that offer this type of service require collateral to be anywhere from 115%-150% of the Principal, depending on asset class, etc. My options are either to provide no collateral to potential investors or hope that a single investor is willing to take a 2b isk gamble. I am open to either option; I will provide the collateral directly to any investor who wishes to fill the entire bond, or I will sell the 50 bonds without collateral, whichever happens first.

After getting some very sound advice, I have decided to close my current bond offering. I need to consider my options and potentially come back with an offering that will be more attractive to investors.

You did well, actually better than many others who rejected advice and / or got emo or started bad mouthing their own source of blood (the Investors) and thus lost their one chance.

You closed at "break even" which in professional traders book is considered a win and imo if you keep doing your due diligence you may come back and have success.

Sounds good, stick with Vaerah and you won't go far wrong.

Get back in touch when you've reconsidered your position and we'll see if we can't come to some arrangement.
