Didn't have the time to remove the scram, but in mission you obviously dont need it.

[Taranis, Deeps & tank copy 1]
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Damage Control II
Micro Auxiliary Power Core I

Experimental 1MN Afterburner I
Medium Shield Extender II
J5b Phased Prototype Warp Scrambler I

[empty high slot]

Small Hybrid Burst Aerator I
Small Hybrid Collision Accelerator I

Hobgoblin II x2

245 dps based on STANDARD AMMO. With facton ammo its 276.

I have a few dps implants and grid, though they are only 3% which can be easily purchased.

Let me shed a little light, if I may, as a dedicated amarr pilot.

The crusader actually can get some mean dps. I was playing with a fit earlier that could get 250 or so (but without much of a tank, though why you want tank on an interceptor is beyond me.) The slicer is an even better choice, though, because you get significantly more range and tank for a little less dps and speed.

However, as someone else pointed out, most level 4's have some degree of webbing. That will kill any speed tanker in a heartbeat, especially if you can't field drones.

As far as the efficiency of level 4s, they are (debatably) the most efficient isk grinding pve in all eve (after you take into account loyalty points, salvage, and loot). To make the most of them though, you need a marauder or faction battleship.

I have run many missions in a legion. The strength of the legion is the tank and maneuverability, but it can't field the raw dps that battleships can, so I would indeed say you are safer in a legion doing missions, but it will take considerably more time compared do a battleship.

As for amarr battleships, I'll tell you that the apoc is highly overrated. The armageddon has a bigger tank, is cheaper, and can field more dps (skill depending) and is more versatile. I started on the geddon, and went back to if after trying the apoc. Even so, nothing matches the abaddon until you get to pirate BSs or marauders. The abaddon requires more skill as a pilot to fly. You need to know how to manage cap, but my old abaddon with tech 1 guns could field a 450 dps tank and 800 dps of firepower. (I used mega beams) Learn to manage cap and understand how to fly without cap stability (a must anyway) and the abaddon is, without a doubt, the best early game mission runner for an amarr pilot.

Thanks for the tips.
So both the Abaddon/Armageddon with small/medium drones in bay to handle the frigates our large guns have problems taking down?

Arma can even fit heavy drones or sentries, but then we have nothing to deal with frigates close range...

Pirate cruisers budd, its gonna get em done, make you some ISK you can count and a hell of allot of fun to fly.

T2 Cruisers are also an option for you to look into if you have the character skills.

Certain cruisers can be made to go pretty damn fast.

The Ashimmu for instance, about Pirate cruisers? This is the only one I like the look ^^ In fact I find the pirate ships mostly ugly...
