Yeah I would agree with all that.

I'd like a popup for buying more than 1 of the same skillbook too...

In the papercuts thread, I mean the whole thing, there are some great ideas people piped up and mentioned in other pages.

Yeah Biggest problem is the fact this year has been classed as for "War", wonder if CCP would but that an industry revamp this year is to stream line our supply lines for said "War".

Hopefully they at least give next year the name "Industry" that way it can include some good stuff including corp and POS revamps. Would not want to be on the CSM when they come out that's for sure considering how much people in this game whine when good changes happen.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Actually the thing I have noticed in EvE as it has aged is how whiny the community has gotten.
CCP will have a lot of problems balancing EvE out as people seem to be stuck and refuse to change even if it would work out better for them. It's very much "I have been doing it this way for years" behavior.

Having read the Blizzard forums (my wife is a big Blizzard player), I must say EvE has actually become full of a lot more complainers than the WoW boards. the Thread naught about changing Lo-sec gate guns is almost the size of the complaints when Burning Crusade was released and the people who had spent almost 3 years getting there tier gear was wiped out over night. Not to mention the complaints about the hulk and macks cargo bays, I noticed no one seems to have gotten the irony that no one is complaining about the skiff cargo hold, The ship got a purpose.

So even a simple button like the one suggested to re-do last action for industry will probably end up with 100 threads about how EvE is dumbing down or dying or some crap.

I would love to see EvE made better but there is a wall of idiocy that the CSM and CCP will now have to fight through to make any thing successful.

We are the borg, resistance is futile.

In the 1990's when california was in an energy crisis they started rolling blackouts in LA. The NASA Deep Space observatory switchboard went nuts the first night by thousands of people ringing - all asking the same question "What are those lights in the sky?"

"Most people" don't know ****.

Opinion is fact, fact is interpretation and the truth doesn't exist - didn't you know? :)

CCP's predeliction with following marketting strategy, shows they care more about opinion than the truth.

The thing we have that WoW doesn't is the CSM. That is why it's important to educate the CSM delegates (many of whom actually DO have a clue) in the REAL mechanics of broken gameplay.

Ok well I will avoid the standard comment about people from the United states.

Yeah and Opinion is 60% Hi-sec carebear with no wants for non-consentual combat. and only 20% Null, and a measly 15% Lo-sec but at the end of the day CCP is a business. They just need to learn what will benefit them long term and what is just a short term income boost. We might however see a short term boost plan as they are starting to talk about an IPO.

Well I always remember what Bill Clinton said when he was impeached.

"It all depends on what you mean by 'is'."

Just post this question in the CSM thread for the town hall meeting. They are already revamping contracts but perhaps they will learn from that, and help with automated corp stuff.

Signature removed for inappropriate language - CCP Eterne

Yeah here's a good example of what I was talking about regarding needing an industry expansion and a relook at the entire process rather than "another bandaid".

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=143870&find=unread

The imbalances get moved from high end ores being too cheap to low end ores not giving enough minerals/bpo's needing too much veldspar (take your pick).

These imbalances become systemic and move from one end of the system to another part of the system.

Personally, I think they should be looking at the system as a whole - they have all the stats of ores being mined etc. and what ships are most available all that good stuff.

Still waiting on a CSM answer - Seleene did get around to telling me he was catching up his mail this week, maybe he will get to us soon.

While this is true, they have never mentioned this aspect of the contract system. They will likely just revamp the current contracts and add some more for the merc marketplace etc..

While my idea revolves around mining, it doesn't take into account people who might wish to run a t2 manufacturing corp, or a trading corp - these things also need looking at.

I disagree with that forum post, the reason why Null sec minerals are falling to such cheap prices is that so many people are mining them now.

They have just flooded the market. The same has happened to Hi-sec and will happen again now a lot more people are mining.

Yeah I agree with ya here actually, it's all too early to really jump to any given conclusion regarding prices as the market craps itself over the latest changes.

Got replies from Hans and Seleene, this (Open ended contracts to corp) functionality should be included in the new contract/treaty system - even though it hasn't been expressly included in the minutes - which is a relief to me.

Onto modular POS and making stations obsolete! Big smile

YaY well that's the best news I have heard in a while SmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

I don't try to email CSMs anymore. I emailed on of the more prominent ones 4 months ago and still haven't heard back (I don't think he likes me as I slagged him off during the campaign), so I just throw it all on the forums these days.

Heh, well usually I find they are cool about whatever goes on in election week, understanding that they need to work with other CSM's that also ran - with all the dirty talk/tricks therein ;)

Wizard Hats not withstanding.
