VETERAN SHIPS. Ships restricted to pilots with 100 million skillpoints, or more. Ideally:

- Advanced veteran frigate, 100m SP required, 200m ISK cost.
- Advanced veteran destroyer, 120m SP required, 500m ISK cost.
- Advanced veteran cruiser, 140m SP required, 1 billion ISK cost.
- Advanced veteran BC, 160m SP required, 1.5 billion ISK cost.
- Advanced veteran battleship, 180m SP required, 2.5 billion ISK cost.

Disagree... instead of a generic SP requirement I would advise all-race skills to fly... so if you want to fly the 'vet BS' you need to have BS5 in all races... any weapons or modules you use, including rigs, requires associated skill trained to 5. Additionally, there would of course be new vet skills (w/ all race 5 pre-reqs) that are all rank 14

That too. In my dream Eve patch, veteran ships are added that have ridiculously high requirements in specific skills. I certainly wouldn't mind a veteran battleship that requires 20+ skills at 5, including hard ones like titans/carriers/fighters/bombers... it'd certainly give me something to shoot for, a feeling I haven't felt in Eve in years...

Yeah, sounds like a great killmail for newbies to try and get on with their little warp scramblers and stasis webifiers. Granted you could also shoot a bullet at a titan anyway, but that's not so easy because titans tend to be able to get away fast.

Yah... and you goons especially would have some interesting new goals. I would look forward to the goon ibis fleet vid of a vet BS take-down Twisted

It probably would happen at some point, Ibisfleet.

"Swiss army knife" ships. That is ships that are not pre-designed for a role, but can be fit as we want for a role. Ships with no bonus of any kind, just more slots and a healthy grid and cpu to support many fitting options.

T3 industrial ships. Boosting/mining/hauling/covert/tanking subsystems. Something that can penetrate to null/WHs, do useful work there, and be useful in more than one role while there.

Small-hulled salvager for lower-level missions. Sort of a mini-noctis?

Interbus passenger bus. Weak, mostly useless, but maybe a gift ship or something?

how about just a single tech 3 ship for all that? a T3 ORE ship

So you want a hulk with a bigger cargo bay and an extra high slot.?

yes, this would cover it. :)

Don't kill mining cruiser line, please. Sad

And one T3 mining/harvesting/indy ship would make all indy people sooooo happy. :)

And 2 ships to make is not that big job, so, please CCP??? Blink

I've been posting it for awhile when I see threads like this:

I NEED Another variant of the rorqual that instead of compresses ore, acts as a mobile refining station. still needs to activate the Industrial core to refine. has all the same stats and restrictions of the rorqual. just the functionality change. Would this make the rorqual obsolete though? Possibly and well, possibly not.

why do i want this ship?
I'm tired of P.O.S POS refining. sure CCP could just buff the POS modules to actually be better than refining in high sec. But would they actually do it? Why is it that in high sec reprocessing and refining is instant but in low/null it takes hours? This all ties down to making industry relevant in low and null to lure more industrialists and entrepreneurs to those areas.

But more importantly. In my opinion. The best way to bring more players to null and low is to have more ships that would support roaming homeless, non-sov holding, small corps like mine.

Or maybe a mobile POS ship (size of a small POS). A ship that must be anchored (same rules apply for this ship that are defined for POS). Must be fueled. Increase the fuel consumption by 150% compared to that of a POS. The idea here is that this would be temporary. Not something you are going to leave up for longer than say, 1 week? This would be a capital ship. When you log off, your toon leaves game but mobile pos stays in game. Less hit points than a small pos. I think that this would also be cool if it could light a cyno while in "deployed mode" that way ships with jump drives can jump right to it. Could make for some interesting strategies

May not be the greatest ideas but I'd really like to see more ships in game that support ninja miners, null industrialists, the homeless, and PVE'rs that roam in other people's sov and NPC null.

Mini-base ship?

Industrial class sized hull with with cruiser speed and armor. A ship maintenance bay with enough room for two cruisers, fitting array, and a 10,000 m3 cargo bay, and a small drone bay (50m3 with 25mb bandwidth). 4/4/4 layout (a guess) with 2-3 launcher points to allow for probe launchers and support missiles.

Why? To allow small gang roaming in unsupported areas (WHs and Stationless 0.0). It would need enough combat capability to be viable in a fight to help out. Right now ships like the Orca are too big and slow and the guy stuck in them has little to nothing to do. The smaller size of this ship would allow for better roams in WHs without getting stuck and a cargo bay would allow for loot to be collected.

Although I would not intend that it be able to carry Strategic Cruisers (hauling 2 100mn ratting Tengu's seems a bit crazy). I'm sure there could be a wonderful argument on that issue.

If you are asking for pie-in-the-sky --> A wormhole doorstop :: a ship that can generate a wormhole stabilization wave so you can bring more and bigger ships in and out without collapsing the wormhole, or at least greatly reducing the likelihood. Either or also, this ship could mount a wormhole cyno so you can jump your ships in and out.

Like I said - if you are asking for pie-in-the-sky.
