The most desolate place in Eve? my sex life, it's like a desert oh the joys of marriage.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Ya you may need to put the game down for a minute... for some reason, wives hate having sex with a partner who is jabbering in Team Speak.

Personally couldn't ever figure out why this was such a large problem.

They're not whining about it on the forums because they think it's set in stone, they complain about it so the devs can get their opinion of the changes and modify them accordingly or make them realize that it's a bad idea.

OT: As said before, just check dotlan. Null or low tend to usually be pretty empty.

Incorrect. Most, though not all, are whining as if the changes ARE set in stone, which was my point. One you also failed to grasp, well done. And to the poster who enquired as to my dislike for gate campers, I have no dislike for them at all. You merely read more in to my post than was actually there, well done to you too.

To the OP, as others have stated Dotlan maps are a great way of tracking empty systems when used in conjunction with the in game map. Specifically you can set the in game map to show statistics for all systems, such as jumps per hour, ships killed, pods killed and number of ships currently in space/docked in those systems.

While it may take a while to boil all that data down in to a usable form, it should give you a very clear idea of which systems match your criteria. I wish you luck in your endeavours Cool

Is there a way to know which solar systems are the most populated, and which are the most devoid of activity ?

I've found a few systems where you usually find between 3 and 5 pilots at peak times, but are there really inhabited systems in EvE ? Considering the size of New Eden it may be possible.

Have anyone ever been to the "end" of the map ?

There are dead-end systems at the end of null-sec.

Simple way to see the least active systems is to open the EVE map in-game, and see which systems have the least number of jumps in the last 24 hrs.

Ammatar space (Derelik, parts of Devoid) can be pretty dead a lot of the time (especially if you play at like 3.00am NA TZ as I do).

Also, I've lost count of how many "cloaky-tourist" trips I've done into various peoples' nullsecs where you don't see a single soul for tens of jumps.

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.

Try random hugs and hair sniffing, buy her shoes ($500), Make dinner on the weekend, pick up after yourself and tell her she looks nice (before she asks you) Then you can play EVE as much as you want, but you have to stop playing if she wants it "important" Smile

I would assume the most desolate place in Eve is the Polaris system.

I think the last year of emergency changes and patches proves the only way to get CCP to not break the game is to scream at them until they do what you want to make the headache go away. People will stop screaming on the forums when CCP starts paying attention before you have to scream and insult them and make then look like idiots in gamer mags just to get their attention.

On topic, there are an awful lot of low sec systems that are empty 90% of the time. As long as you avoid gate camps you can be zooming round for days without coming across a single person.

Holy mother of load some one knows how it works glad to see this see so many QQ post that i can not belive ccp is not blocking them xD

So far everyone has been suggesting various versions of "Look through this list". I think the OP is not asking how you look through a list of systems to find the most desolate one, but how you order the systems in order of activity, so one can look at the bottom of the list and see which have the least. We can reorder the overview by name, distance, alliance, etc. How does one re-order the star list by activity?

I do not know of a way to do that. Does anyone?
