When assigning roles to corp members, is there a way to set up roles so that the Industrialists within your corp will draw materials and blueprint from the corp hanger (without access to take), then place the manufactured item back into the corp hanger? So that you don't have to trust an individual with 500mil of your corps materials?

You can lock the BPOs down, or give them "view only" access to that hangar. However, they will need "Take" access for the minerals. They need neither View nor Take to dump stuff into a hangar after completion.

Note that there's nothing stopping them from setting the output to somewhere they have take access from though.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Put just enough minerals to start a job in the hangar.
Give grunt take access to the hangar.
Trust grunt to push butan and not run off with one job's worth of minerals.
Take away grunt's access to the hangar.

Repeat for every job.

You could also put grunts minerals in a Station Container and give them the password, as long as nobody can take the container then you should also be good.

But yeah, lock down the blueprints

''You can lock the BPOs down,'' This urgently needs a nerf.

''Here have access to these items for manufacture but don't steal them''. Why are all items in the game not the same, CCP BPO's should not be immune to theft.

I don't think this is the thread for your whining mate. But it is good, keep it coming.

If you set the BPO in a hangar that they have view only access too and put the minerals into another you can simply change the input/output when you go to build. It wont keep someone from stealing the minerals, but it will keep the BPO safe. Also, audit log containers in the mineral hangar to keep track of who uses what and when. You can set the roles so they can take from the container but not take the actual container.
