Forever RUINED: EVE now 92% Easier

The game is officially ruined FOREVER, finding missile range was previously rather mundane twelve step process that extended gameplay, and instilled the excitement of properly filing a Federal IT-0140ez form. But that wasn't good enough for them, they took it too far we may now simply mouse over the module in question.

Now newbie pilots will be murdering players with 100m skill points left and right because CCP is catering to the NEW players, when will this money driven madness end?

Previously required a stunningly simple twelve (12) step process, general understanding game mechanics, and a sense of familiarity with the UI. This procedure was EASILY explained in a forty-five (45) minute long E-UNI class, what is E-UNI going to do now teach them to boil eggs?

1) Open Ship fittings.
2) Right Click on module
3) Show info
4) Select Attributes Tab
5) Scroll down to stats
6) Open calculator
7) Copy index for Maximum flight time
8) Paste into calculator
9) Press multiply
10) Copy Flight Velocity
11) Paste into calculator
12) Press Enter

/unsubscribe

Now with 100% less Troll.

Normally I'd assume this post is being satirical but given the serious posts on MMOs I've seen over the years, I wouldn't be surprised if this was serious.

I HAVE seen people get indignant over better tutorials making it easier to get into the game. Using the ever fallacious slippery slope argument.

I too am sad about this.

In todays economy everyone is doing it hard, when someone loses a job, it effects whole families, families that need to put food on the table, and give kids lunch money, was anybody thinking about that ?

Wont somebody think of the calculator makers !!!

2 click info
3 view attributes

Then when ever you need to refresh the info just click the previous/next buttons and presto you now know your range etc all the time.

Yeah its stupid to make important information like what your range is easily available. Because a space ship would never have that type of information available to the pilot. In the future they try to make everything as difficult as possible. I quit for 6 months when they made what your current speed was and again when you they told you using numbers how far away you were from someone.

I bet your one of those people who still use the overview and don't manually click on pilots in space to target right?

CCP should have never implemented that four-function calculator. It makes things too easy.
