How about just doing this meetup on Saturday evening, say around 6? We can wrap it up by 8 or so to be back in time for the concerts. I had pretty good food & drinks a couple years back at the Fox Sports Bar, it's about 2 blocks from the Convention and wasn't crowded:

I'm of course willing to be flexible if someone has a better idea, but right now we have no plan, and plan > no plan Blink. Right? If I get a few good responses later today/tomorrow I'll call and make a reservation for us.

I'm happy to show up whenever. I'll be at PAX on Saturday, but I'm local so swinging by on Friday isn't a problem either.

If you would prefer to meet at the conference center itself and then go somewhere as a group for food and drink, I know a good location.

The conference center has three basic entrances. The main street level is on the North from Pike Street. It's first floor and gets the most traffic. Lots of crowds means it would be a very difficult place to meet up.

There is the tunnel where busses drop off. That's to the East. Maybe it's just me, but meeting in tunnels just seems sketchy.

The third entrance is from the South up a set of exterior stairs. It enters on the second floor of the conference center where there is a fruit smoothy place inside the conference center. It's a fairly low traffic area and so finding a small group of other people is quite possible there. Two years ago that is where the rock band stage was if any of you remember that. There are a couple of small tables just inside that would be a good place to meet.

It's the area marked "Int 1. Meeting Place" on the second floor of the latter link.

You can arrive up the stairs from the outside at 7th and Union or come from the convention by going to the second floor and heading South. That smoothy place (the food icon next to the area) is open to the public even when the convention is going so this is also an area accessible to any players that didn't get PAX tickets before they sold out or do not have on for whichever day we choose. From there, it's a very easy walk to a number of decent restaurants and bars. I've not been to the Fox Sports Bar, but it looks like a perfectly good choice.

Well, if any others are interested in Friday, I'll be there. Though I'm local, I am out of town on Saturday and Sunday - only at PAX on Friday ... Sad

Anyway, I have no idea how many people are going to come to the EVE meetup and the Devs haven't responded back yea/nay so far. I'll probably go ahead and make a reservation tomorrow for say 6-8 people and we'll see how many show up.

If you're planning on attending, Saturday night @ 6pm @ the Fox Sports Grill, please give me an actual "I'll be there" post please.

Hey bro's! So i just met up with Foxfour and we thought it would be best to do this on friday as that is the only day we can both attend. We decided an a place called "Alibi Room" that is pretty close to the venue. Their website is here "http://www.seattlealibi.com/welcome.htm". So let's meet up there around 7 - 8 PM -ish and then after a couple of drinks and some swag we can head out wherever and go on a proper pub crawl! :D

I'll be at the Fox Sports Gill at 6:30 or so on Saturday night, since it's one of the few places within an easy walk where there is a really low likelyhood of a line.

I might try and stumble down Post Alley to Alibi tonight as well, depends on how things turn out.
