Sounds like crying to me. Anyway, I never said you were speaking for your alliance, just amused that someone who is part of such a massive, powerful entity is crying over a single pilot, let alone a single AFK pilot. Grab one or two people from the 9000 spacefriends you have and you'll have a counter/defense.
Also, asking for a tool to kill/decloak/whatever cloaked ships is just flat out stupid. It destroys the entire point of cloaking ships, and there is no valid reason to provide such a ridiculous ship/module/mechanic as there is no problem to begin with. Other than your own cowardice. Again, this all boils down to you wanting the game mechanics to be designed/changed in such a way that provides you with absolute certainties / absolute safety, while making it harder for other players. You're crying for an "i win" button, which is pathetic.

Give me a SINGLE killmail attained by an AFK cloaker. Pro-tip: You can't. There are 0. Stop crying.

Unless it's trolling. It's probably trolling.

ok yes people die from hot drops in Null with of course the risk of dying themselves if a big enough fleet is near by or for that matter 1 guy with a cyno and friends.

Yes I would like to see cloaked ships removed from local and dedicated cloak hunting ships.

Oh and yes it does come across as cryingLol

Argument? listening to how a cloaked ship scares you to the toilet every 5 minutes because he might hot drop your ratting ship with Dread and Supers.

That you sound like a whiny little **** is not an argument, it is a FACT.

i bet he is on of the "real man" sitting in a cloakt bomber showing ballz, and trading transporting on his main accounts doing market pvp, whatever nothing more to say in this thread.

I was going to berate you on your kill board but according to Battle Clinic you actually have 4 kills out of 601 with less han 10 people on it.

But then again on the other 597 kills way to press F1Lol

Just make special probes that take a high skill, something V to use that can pick up cloaky ships that are NOT MOVING. Meaning if a cloaky is truely AFK and hiding in a safe they'll be picked up pretty fast. If they are on the move the chances of catching them is much harder.

It should be a more of a strategic setup to catch a cloak. Like T3 ship or some advanced Logi with some V skill. Not a noob in a Probe with a launcher and probes.

Bubbling the gates is one option, but you can do a few other things too. You can move system to rat. You can rat in your own system anyway but be prepared (pvp fit, stay aligned, have friends in pvp/logistics ships ready and waiting), etc.

You have a lot of things you can do that will make him much less of a threat. Tears aren't one of them, so dry your eyes mate and man up.

And again, having a way to find/kill cloaking ships is a terrible idea and destroys the roles those ships are meant to fill. It also destroys all of wormhole space, which is funnily enough the area in which cloaky ships are the most dangerous. Yet the manly men who live in wormholes manage just fine. No local? No problem.

AFK cloaking is a term/concept used for people in Eve mostly afk...

When people use this term it doesn't strictly mean those people are 100% always afk, but no point in calling them "often afk most of the time and sometimes attacking people if they find a right target cloakers"?
It's how the term is used and splitting words is as pointless as insisting factories put cats in their "cat food" or not to call small yellow sticky labels for "post-its" if they are made by another company.

So why not keep the discussion as clean, objective and on topic as possible?

Obviously no reason to make everything more difficult for people actively using cloaking in their activities, however claiming that afk cloakers not gaining an advantage while being afk cloaked is simply wrong:

As mentioned afk cloakers are never 100% always afk. but even while afk they ARE being rewarded:
  • People might stay docked due to fear - the afk cloaker are denying income to the enemy = reward
  • People get frustrated and give the cloaker an edge if he starts looking for kills. Easier kills = reward
  • Have the enemy waste time trying to counter you while virtually 100% safe wears down the enemy = reward

Patience is a huge factor in Eve but an afk cloaker doesn't have a time factor against him like people being cut off from activity. Yes the afk cloaker might not get isk and kills while actually afk, but the more he is afk the easier it is when he is actively chasing targets...

It isn't a broken game mechanic that gives him those "advantages" though, it's the "so stupid I can't believe they manage to breathe unassisted" nullbears handing them it on a silver platter. The mechanics are fine, and there is no need to adjust them (and every proposal so far has been atrocious and would break huge parts of the game). The thing that is broken is the pathetic psyches of the nullbears. CCP can't be expected to fix that though.
