$9,000 worth of PLEX would land you just under 300 billion isk at current market rates.

I know there are some recent alliance tourney award ships that were valued somewhere around 30 bill. That works out to nearly $1,000 in PLEX. Now consider something like a State Raven. I don't even know the last time something like that changed hands, but I have to wonder whether some of those things that are now one-of-a-kind wouldn't fetch more than 300 bil.

edit: Since you can convert isk into playtime, I consider it to have real market value and be interchangable for dollars. 300 billion gets you 50 years of "free" playtime.

You could also make those calculations with the 70 grand egg, but to be quite honest i didn't get jackshit out of that entry. I simply don't understand Entropia, and i don't think that the article's author does either.

I took offense when Adam Tod Brown said that they couldn't give a rat's ass about people who bother commenting on Cracked. I can take **** from people on these forums, but i don't take **** from a guy that puts on a headband to eat spicy food.
