Either less stupid or more control over their behavior. Like setting speed, orbit range, response to things like being targeted, as well as a response to events like 0% shields/armor/hull, etc. Drone control as it is is barely any control at all. That coupled with the drones being dumb as ****, makes drones sub-sub-optimal for pvp.

The fix for that is being able to shoot the turrets or launchers off of other ships.

Problem with balancing is solo/small gang. Currently Myrm wins all other BCs 1vs1, and Proteus is the only T3 that has a flying chance of breaking the Myrm. If it's buffed to scale better to +5 man opposing gangs, it quickly gets OP in smaller engagements.


I like most of these changes however i think a 30% reduction to range on hams is a little bit too much, I'd stop it at -20%. Reduction to cane's grid is a must, ship is blatantly OP atm. Removal of ASB, sure as **** got my vote on getting rid of this silly module. The removal of selectable dmg types on missiles and projectiles tho? LOL dude, that's a ******* deplorable idea. As for the removal of armor speed penalties... They should remain on trimarks however resistance and active tanking armor rigs should have this penalty changed to something else, maybe scan res?


As for the "positive" changes you listed... I don't like the idea of adding a mid slot dmg mod, we already have a tracking computer which kind of acts like such. +1 low to brutix and Hyperion is a must however I'd toss an extra low on the Astarte as well or else we're going to have a t2 version of a t1 ship with less base hp, and less total slots (-1 rig), something easily avoidable.

easy fix is to boost hybrid ammo by givin them more bonuses i.e fall off rate of fire alpha tracking and so on...

second is removing the repper bonus and replacing it with an effectivness bonus to the energised mod that increases the amount of armour you have on the ship... (that way you wont need to fit a 1600 on the ship)

3rd. i would increase the rof on rail guns to increase thier dps...

4th. go threw every hybrid ship (caldari included) and fix them either by adding slots or powergride or scan resolution/strength...

also i would remove the tracking link bonus from the orneros and replace with a remote sebo bonus...

That flavor of racial bonus needs to get chucked and replaced with something else. Something to do with tanking. Maybe an armor hp per level bonus (like the auguror gets) so Gallente ships essentially get a free plate, like Amarr a free eanm, Caldari a free invuln, Minmatar a free sba (which does mean something). This might make an armor resist and speed fit blaster boat viable.

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, [u]please[/u] give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.
