Dodixie LIVE: The Xenuria Broadcasts

This is an experimental project and I will be testing out a number of features like a market ticker and various other statistical overlays. My ultimate goal with this project is to create an EvE TV Show that is centered around the daily happenings of Dodixie and the economic information of import to it's residents.

Please offer "constructive" criticism.

So far the max any software will allow me to stream is

1280 x 720 @ 25fps

I might pay for better software if I get donations but right now I will be using the above listed configuration until interest in the project spikes.

Edit: Shutting down for tonight. Will be back up soon~
Edit: Steam going up shortly for some sound and audio testing. Audio Quality is sub par. I need to fix that.

Dodixie is quite possibly the most boring trade hub in the game.

I was there for 4 weeks to fix my Gallente standings and it doesn't have **** on Jita.

Jita is where all the fun and the explosions and the riots and the suicide ganks and the burnings are at.

Also, you are playing Max Payne 3, not Eve.

Kamela is the best trade hub in eve, you should total stream from their.

Dodixie is great. It has everything from "1vs1"s at the undock to the usual margin trading scams. You gotta have to block eveapolus spammers tho.

I was testing something doof.
You got in after I shut down the eve stream. Its going back up soon

^^ indeed that red background reminds me somewhat of "web design" in the 90's complete with under construction signs, glittery gifs and multiple fonts, kind of like myspace.

Yes that was in your OP. I mean your actual in game text boxes and inventory and such. If you're ever going to have those open during your stream, set them to something a lot darker.

Watching someone do nothing but talk crap while docked sounds fascinating. I hope your project does very well.

I wish I can provide you with positive feedbacks, but when it comes to aesthetics, this Dodixie LIVE TV thing looks horrible and unprofessional. The background noise is unbearable and I don't see how this project could differentiate itself from someone on Youtube posting about his daily ramblings on EVE Online.

If you want to sway more crowds, I suggest that you follow Tech 4 News' format, or at least, create a new webpage solely dedicated to Dodixie LIVE with no political affiliation and no mention of "Xenuria" on all corners of the webpages.

A website may or may not be in the works.

What kind of metrics would people like to see though?

This is still in beta and I am still figuring things out. Today will be sound testing, if you want to help me sort it out than by all means open a priv chat with me.

This is a good idea.
I will try that.

Right now I need to get sound configured properly. All the good programs and services cost money via subscriptions. I am attempting to find a free solution. I am trying to get the audio from the game to stream not just my voice or whatever my mic picks up. I might have to use 3 programs at once instead of just 2 in order to get this to work. Like I said all the stuff that would do this all in one program costs money.
