BS or Tengu for very specific needs?

I went ahead and just got a standard Domi for trial runs.
I use a fit that has 3 specific hardeners, 1 LAR, a cap pwr relay and 2 DDA in the lows-all T2.
3xcap recharges and 2 omni links in the mids.
4x425 Prototypes and 2x DLA in the highs.
2xaux pumps and a sentry damage aug for rigs.

I can tell it can't tank like the drake but it is "good enough" so far and with Plutonium it is actually cap stable.

Using std Plutonium and 5 Garde I's it kills rats about 2.5 to 3 times faster than my Raven. I just sit there and melt the entire room. If they get close I break out Ogre II's, which with the omni links chew frigs to pieces, and the DPS goes up about 100 points. BS rats just melt like candy in the sun. I can't wait for T2 sentries and T2 hybrids.

I never would have figured a drone ship could pump out that kind of damage. Those Drone Damage Amplifiers are quite a game changer.

my choice of ship is the scorpion navy issue it has real good dps and big tanking abilities and I don't have to warp out almost never, however my toon has good combat skills drones and shields and BS lvl 5.

No it doesn't. It has passable DPS and a nice tank.

Perhaps not the most popular but I still fall back on the Nighthawk. It can tank entire rooms and have enough dps to go thru missions at a reasonable rate. A bit skill intensive though.

For armor Domis, less changed than you might think. What did happen is that previously, about half the damage came from magstabbed rails. Now there's a bit more damage, and more of it comes from high-tracking, damage-selecting sentries.

Shield Domis, who can fit magstabs and DDAs, however... those exploded in usefulness. Lol

Navy Dominix:
3x DDA, 3x faction magstab, TE, TC, 2x omnidir, drone control range rig, 425mm's, 5% wirings
= 1280 dps to 45+12, 47+49km range. Requires good skills and some faction in shield tank.
Fits with CA-implants and faction tank.

Once I get T2 sentries I will get a second Domi and fit a high DPS shield tank on it. But for now, with my skill set, I am going to error on the side of tank a bit. The acid test will come with Worlds Collide and the Extravaganzas.

Hmmm...wonder if I drop a DLA and a turret for a salvager and tractor beam. It would be like having a poor man's Marauder.
