Of course then those dastardly CFC members would probably start selling Technetium under several front corporations. Thus rendering the whole process useless.

Curse those fiendishly sexy vagabonds. And smart too oh so smart! X

IF there were a way to 100% guarentee CFC made 0 profit then yes... yes i would!

The sad reality is it would no doubtably be a scam and profits going straight to them. You mention tracking the process, unfortunatly everyone has alts, people buy and sell characters etc so it would never be 100% guarentee'd

How about adding an owner history to every unit of every item?

Whenever it is traded, sold, or stolen, the new owner can see all the previous owners.

Interesting. You could probably use the database UID to track it, but as soon as it was repackaged, you would lose the UID and the history. And items would have to be created, carried and sold unstacked/unassembled/unpackaged without some major pain in the tookus code changes.

What if there were?

Now, if the game was capable of tracking the manufacturing process, what parts were put together by who, and majority of minerals traced back to point of origin. I would avoid specific corp products if the price difference was acceptable.

such features could easily be worked around with alts and front corps, so it would be entirely pointless effort on CCPs part.

That doesn't make you lot any less the laughing-stock of the Human race, hon.

Sorry, but that's just the simple truth.

You seem really upset about the sheer and utter dominance my people exert on you and your nation, gripping your neck like you're some petulant child and raising you in the air, shaking you around and stealing your lunch money. This is the way it is, and the way it always will be.

well the TV said that only OTEC product makes sure that no bad quality Tech is used in the production process. you know ... i dont really want my ship to break up in midspace just because i wanted to save some ISK.

It is better to buy quality stuff that is only made from certified OTEC Tech so I dont mind to pay more. Quality comes before quantity after all, a thing often forgotten in space travel What?

There is no "premium quality" in any minerals. Technetium is Technetium, no matter where it comes from. For this reason, the cheaper offer wins the market.

Yet there are so many people who cant keep their mouth shut that eventually as each corp is discovered they are black listed.
And would keep people from buying from brand new corps offering particular items. Letting people choose to stick with specific proven corps. It would add one extra dangly part to the meta game.

only poors don't appreciate the quality of 100% OTEC-Certified Non-Alchemized Genuine Technetium

you might as well make your coffee with pencil shavings as well if you use alchemized technetium
