No, the Mining Barge changes won't ruin PvP.

Stop being stupid and/or trolling.

Despite what you seem to think, ganking is not what stops people from mining. Boredom does. We're not gonna see a wave of people who didn't want to mine before hurry to train for Mining Barges just to give it a go after the changes because, guess what, it will still be boring! Mineral prices won't go down or anyhing.

As for PvP... if ganking in High-Sec was what you call PvP you weren't much of a PvPer to begin with. Grow some balls.

Space. It seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you.

The new barges will stop all pvp and crash the mineral market, and in the end kill eve...

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

No, but we're probably more effective at it than the CCP anti-botting team. Think about it for a second: we profit when we kill bots, CCP loses money when botters leave for greener pastures.

If we want to ruin mining we could... mine.

Get the entirity of the CFC/HBC, train up an alt for the new mining frigates, then blot out the sun. If we can't pop the miners, pop their rocks. Swarm over highsec belts like a plague of locusts. Play market games with the minerals we acquire.

Think of it like a structure shoot, except the structures are rocks and we use mining lasers to kill them.

We killed hundreds of bots in our ice interdiction and improved caldari ice mining profits for all miners even to this day while shutting down one of the most bot riddled parts of space. We got no thanks for our efforts but just like batman we don't need them and we will continue to stand watch, ready to step in with our over the top voice when the bat signal is lit.
