Title says it all. Can build things like QUAD 3500MM GALLIUM I CANNON or in a station or do I need a POS?

Station Manufacturing Services keep a list of all the item types that can be built at them.

Hover over the Manufacturing service in the S&I window and you'll get a tooltip popup.

I see it, thanks. I assume the cap mods I am talking about count as modules. How exactly do I tell? Like, what is an accessory?

Sorry for the silly questions, I am looking at buying blueprints with LP and trying to make something out of them. I am fairly ignorant of manufacturing, aside from having the proper skills trained.

You can make cap shield and cap mods in a normal high sec pos, Assumming same for weapons.

Google.

But since you're now getting confusing information, Capital Modules can be built in HS stations as can Capital Components.

Capital Ships (well, most of them), are the ones that have to be built in LS stations or POSes (Supers).

I saw the fishing lesson earlier, and decided to keep walking and not risk being slapped about with a Mackerel.

There are no restrictions on building any modules. You can build them at a station, outpost, or POS equipment array.

Growing up, my Dad refused to tell me the answer when he helped me with my homework. He'd talk me through figuring it out myself. It absolutely infuriated me. Since then, I've realized that that better prepared me for actually getting things done.

So I try to teach people by pointing them towards sources where they can find the answers themselves. (I'm not quite as all-patient as my Dad was, though.)

Hey, I actually did learn something. I knew the cap ship build restrictions and which ships could be built where, I was just fuzzy on the mods. Since a Doomsday Device is Titan only it stood to reason it might be similarly restricted and I could find little info on google.

My questions have been answered and I thank you for your help folks.

No, but I advise you to not build long-range capital guns because they are 100% useless.
