Windows 7 killed my F keys

I've just installed Eve on my shiny new Windows 7 Home Premium machine, and now my F keys don't work. They seem to work in other apps, and the Windows hotkeys work fine (like pressing F1 opens help), but if I hit my F keys in Eve, either nothing happens, or the wrong thing triggers.

I've checked to make sure that mappings are fine in the game, but am having no luck. Without getting these things working, I'm going to have a hard time going back to clicking on my modules.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.
