If you are a builder do you do it to

1. pay the plex man
2. dont really like pvp
3. pay for pvp
4. like routine
5. enjoy it
6. other reasons that i cant be bothered to think of at this precise moment in time


or a burner

I dont mean pvper or merc where you wardec and play but a burner.

3-4 accounts who are all in NPC corps who suicide gank all day long

ie miners with destroyers

wait outside stations for tengus to undock and then open fire with a full rack of 1400s before they can cloak

4 sets of 1400s warping into a mission and destroying a faction/tech II battleship

And none of this is for profit


if you are a burner why do you do it

1. lulz
2. hate all human life because yours is worthless
3. Thinks that you can transfer some of you're own pain brought on by a lonely and pointless life onto your victim by destroying their ship
4. Just bored of everything else that EVE has to offer
5. something new

Number 1s tend to be people like some Goons
Number 4-5s tend to be old time vets just winding down time

Protip Whatever you do never get on vent/teamspeak/mumble with 3 as it will degrade your quality of life even it its for a few minutes

Hahahahaha someone didn't read the thread.

Lets be honest, there are only really two reasons people turn to ganking:

1) There is very rarely anything interesting/valuable to be found outside of high sec. And when there is, low and null are so sparsley populated they will generally dock if local isn't empty. And they won't fight over resources because, hey, there's another empty system three jumps away.

2) War decs are well and truly broken, and suicide ganking is the only viable method of attack against the vast majority of high sec alts/players/bots.

I build because I pvp.

I pvp because some ugly blue over there has a fort in our box canyon. I don't care that if we win, we just have two forts in a box canyon. I care because I don't want the blues to have two forts in this here box canyon...

Unless purple is on, then blues are my best friends, let's go kill some war targets.
