So CCP, when are you fixing the idiotic station Whack-a-mole "PVP"ing?

CCP has stated very clearly that wardecs are about purchasing legal targets. That is the justification they give for increasing costs for increasing target size.

Wardecing people to gank their mission and mining ships isn't something you can reasonably complain about anymore.

Station games are a pain, but you know how to fix them? Stop playing them. Instead of camping your WTs into a station, set up a bait ship in a mission pocket or belt. When they take the bait, jump them.

If your WTs stay docked up, they're not hurting you at all.

They are not *MY* WTs, I am theirs.

I try to play the game, have some fun, GUESS WHAT, the ******* decides to undock and come after me.

I try to go after him to make him get off my ass, GUESS WHAT, he plays docking games for ******* hours on end, and I don't have time to waste on that **** like some of the unemployed basement dwellers that play Eve 24/7.

THAT is the problem here, wasting time on doing ******** bullshit instead of having fun because of some dickhead griefer who is 100% protected when I decide to go after him.

I don't have alts, and for people like me, putting up with assholes like those is horrible because we can't do 50 things at once.

And saying that if he is docked he can't hurt me is a crap argument, because if he is docked it means I am camping him, which means I am not having fun AT ALL and I will eventually quit due to boredom.
Get why that is a problem now, and why CCP should fix that unless they want people to leave in droves due to being constantly griefed like that just because PVP is not their preferred play style?

Another good fix would be NOT allowing members of the corp that declared war to dock back up if under attack, but allow the members of the corp that was wardecced to dock after being attacked.

That way it stops people from being griefed AND makes griefers actually have to pay for being assholes, which is FAIR.

If only there were some way to be immune from wardecs and to render all HS station games irrelevant...

Oh, wait, there is.

Anyway, I'd like to ask. Who Decced the great corporation "The Scope"?

You're not going to force people to be less risk averse or play the game how you want them to. There is always the option to not undock or not log in. If you leave them only those options they will take them. How does that help anyone?

That being said highsec wars are generally lame. Excepting RvB of course, who are awesome.

I agree.
RVB is indeed awesome because they have it in their rules that station camping bullshit is not allowed.

I'm going to say 9/10

1. If you have the skills/ships/people to wipe him out at a station to the point that he plays undocking games, you also have the firepower and resources to tank an indy ship and sit it in a belt as bait. Once he attacks, your pre-aligned pilots warp in and make it impossible for him to play docking games.

2. Your outright hatred for corps that you deem to small to be worthy of existing in your EvE just shows that you openly feel people should be forced to play EvE your way. Seems to me that you are more interested in making changes so you have free easy kills when you wardec a small corp and just camp the station they are in.

Look at my corp history.

See that part where I jumped between FINKO and The scope like 50 ******* times?

I had to go that low in order to have some fun and do the things I like without having to worry about that *******, but he wouldn't stop it and I couldn't play with my friends properly anymore, so I quit for 6 months and played the 40 or so games I have been keeping on the backburner on Steam because of Eve.

Came back recently and I am staying in the scope until I find a 0.0 alliance where people actually fight other people instead of being ******** and playing docking games.

You realize that I explained exactly how to fight them without docking games, right?

I'll try again.
Put Bait in Belt/Mission/whatever. Wait until they take Bait. Login/Jump in. Kill. Kill. Kill.

We tried that, he came in covops ships, never engaged because he was not that ********.

We are all adults with jobs, girlfriends, fiances, wives and children, and we did not have time to wait 5 hours for the idiot to make a move every day.

I refuse to pay for a game if I only have like 2-3 hours a day to play, and I have to spend them camping or baiting some unemployed basement dweller with too much time on his hands.

Actually I am complaining about people being able to wardec you and then stay docked or play station games when you go take the fight to them.

Ok, if you aren't trolling, see point #1.

I'm not saying something doesn't need to be done about station games, but it is a valid method of resolving the issue if your aggressor has already shown he is willing to seek out your industrial ships when you aren't waiting for him on the station.

Of course, this perfectly explains why you drop corp constantly to avoid players who are docked up.

Actually this time I dropped corp because barely anyone logs in anymore and I hate being in inactive corps.
Also, what I described in my original post happened about 6-8 months ago.

I am actively looking for a 0.0 alliance so that I can have some fun again, I haven't been in 0.0 since 2009 and I miss the hell out of it, high sec is too static and boring and FLAWED to be any fun anymore.

That's easy! CCP should just make stations have 1 entrance and 1 exit. When you undock you come out of the exit and to dock you have to fly all the way around the station to the entrance. When you warp to the station, you warp to the entrance.

I like that idea in general, I think it would make stations look much more realistic. The docking area would have to be quite large to prevent griefers from just planting a bunch of ships there and preventing players from docking just by their presence.

But as far as station games are concerned, it would just replace such games with people not logging in at all.

If your goal of station camping is to get a kill you are doing it wrong. Either they will play station games, or if that becomes not-an-option due to a game change, they will not undock at all. The goal of a station camp is to keep them from getting out of the station.

If you want kills first do this, and do it out of docking range of a station:

"I try to play the game, have some fun, GUESS WHAT, the ******* decides to undock and come after me."

Then when he comes after you, scram him and kill him. That will stop him from docking. If he manages to escape, do not go after him, just go back to doing what you consider fun, and wait for him to try again.
