Getting credit for COSMOS missions in a fleet.

I have an industry alt, and I would like to get his standings up as I am aiming for a POS at some point. If he accepts a mission fleeted with my main here, as long as he is close will he get credit for completing the mission even if I am the one doing the majority of the killing, or does my alt actually have to do the killing to complete the mission?

The character taking the mission will get the standings. Just make sure you choose not to share rewards. I recently boosted a trader like that. Trader accepts mission and fleet warps the killing character to the encounter. Trader can now go back tot he agent and just turn in the mission when your other character kills all the npcs.
