Production, Invention and Corp Management is horribly broken

When are the Devs finally going to tackle that problem? It's sad enough that it seems like only few Devs are doing null-sec Pvp, but none seem to be involved in Production, Invention, or Corp Management. Can you blame them for not playing a manufacturer considering how crappy those systems are designed? Not at all, by why should we continue to suffer through it?

Both production and invention are click fests beyond boredom. Only a deranged mind that really wants to punish manufacturers or someone who doesn't give a hoot would do such a system. You cannot even build/invent multiple items at the same time. The number of clicks required is mind boggling.

There is no rhyme and reason to the corp management tool. It's a thinly disguised skin over a crappy spreadsheet that is even worse designed than the spreadsheet. Finding where what resides is so counter-intuitive it's not even funny. Worse that that there is zero accountability and record keeping. Someone takes something or makes a change and there is no track record.

When does CCP start to provide some intention to the plumbing of Eve rather than focus solely on the shiny dangling things that keep the masses entertained. You don't need a lot of focus, just a little bit.

So you want easy way to figure out who took your stuff after you carelessly hand out roles to everyone? You could, you know, not carelessly hand out roles.

Corp management skills don't affect you in the School of Applied Knowledge corp anyway.

Perhaps post your ideas for changes in features, instead of whining about it in GD?

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

I was gone for 2 years, so maybe this was taken away while I wasn't looking. Secure containers set up properly shows exactly who accesses it and what they take. You can also lock it all down to view mode only, so corpies can mail you as to what they want. Then, of course, there is setting up division access.

You can lock down blueprints and people with roles can use them without being able to take them. Sure, what you want may take some effort to look up how others have done in, but what in EvE doesn't??

Simply saying "change it!!" without specifying what you are finding difficult isn't constructive. Code Monkeys aren't mind readers. Be specific. Say- I don't have enough categories for roles. Say, I want to be able to allow someone access, but prevent them from taking more than 5 frigates. Say, I want to be able to create a near unlimited number of divisions, so I can treat each member to their own personal division.

Simply- "this sucks" is of no use.

The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse [lady of commercial virtue]. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.- James Nicoll

Takes me more time getting into warp in the frieghter than setting up 10 manufacturing ordersStraight

Only audit containers have ever shown who accessed what.

Yes...OP has a point with drawing attention to those 9 years old relic systems.
Because of their age, complete recoding is probably in order to make it look trendy and fashionable but that is a lot of work.

On a personal note have been hoping for new corp management system for a loooong time now.

Man you really hit the nail on the head with this one. Not that I disagree with other things you said, but this this is really accurate. The total clickfest that is production zaps the fun out of what could/should be a fun activity. It is such an easy fix, just let us build/invent multiple jobs at the same time. Setting up 60-100 invention slots daily, one by one, is not fun.
